same William remaineth against the said John Crapper thereof undefended &a   Therefore it is Considered that
the afd William Teague recover against the afd John Crapper his debt afd and his damages by occasion of
365    the detaining of the same debt to Three hundred & Eighty Seven                                  pounds of tobo
to the Same William of his assent by the Court here adjudged and the aforesaid John Crapper in mercy &a

Command was given to the Sheriffe of Somerset County that he should take of the
goods and Chattells of WIlliam Wye Late of Somerset County Clerk otherwise Called W.m
Wye sen.r parson of Somerset parish in Somerset County as well a Certain debt of Sixteen
thousand pounds four hundred & two pounds of tobacco which Richard Gildart Esq.r in our Court before our
Justices at dividing Creek Recovered against him as three hundred and forty three pounds of tobacco which
to the Same Richard in the Same Court were adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of the detention
of the same debt and when you have the Same tobacco so made he have same before the Justices of his
Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at diving Creek the third tuesday of June then next to Satisfie
the afd Richard of the debt and damages afd whereof he is Convict &a

       Att which said Third Tuesday of June to witt the fifteenth day of the same month anno Dom one
thousand seven hundred and thirty six being the day of the Return of the said Writt Came the said Richd
Gildart by William Goldsborough his attorney and the sheriffe of Somerset County to whom the foregoing
Writt was directed Likewise Cometh & maketh Return thereof the Court here Endorsed in these words vizt

       I hereby Certifie that I have made of the goods and Chattells of the Within Named William Wye to
the Value of thirteen thousand five hundred pounds of tobacco as by the schedule hereunto annexed may
appear and those goods and Chattels have ready to deliver unto the within Named Richard Gildart Esqr so
answers   Jos Mcclester sher         A Schedule of the goods of the Reverend Wm Wye taken by virtue
of a fire facias and appraised for the use of Richard Gildart Esqr as follows

   
To 1 negro man Called January to the value of
To 1 Do Called Ellick to the value of
To 1 Do Called Dunlear to the value of

13500

We the appraisers being Sumoned
and Sworn on the Holy Evangelist
of almighty God did appraise the above named Negroes as appears by the shedule given under our
hands this 11th day of June 1736         Wm MaClemmey Wm Jones, Joseph Gillis David Brown
the plfts attorney releaseth all the Debt save the principall and Costs and Interest untill payment &a

Britt Late of Somerset County planter in his bailywick he Should make three pounds
       Sixteen shillings and ten pence Curr.t money of maryland and three hundred and Sixty One pounds of tobo
       which ^to^ John Singleton in the Same Court before the Justices thereof at dividing Creek in the County afd were adjudged
for his damages which he had by Occasion of a Certain promise and assumption to the Same John Singleton
by the afd John Britt made and not performed and when that he had the Same made or any
