    June Court                1736                    199

One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Six being the day of the Return of the Same Writt Cometh the said Joseph Tillman
by Robert Jenckins Henry his attorney and the sher of Somerset County to whom the foregoing Writt was directed
Likewise cometh & maketh return thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words following viz.t  I hereby
certify that on the first day of May in the Year Seventeen hundred and thirty Six at Somerset County I attached
in the hands of ambross Riggin the goods and Chattells mentioned in the schedule hereunto annexed as of the goods
and Chattells of Stephen Odear within Mentioned for the Use of Joseph Tillman Likewise within Named and
I further Certifie that at the Same Time and place I did make known unto the Same Ambross Riggin that he
should be and appear as within directed before Francis Porter and John Doe good & Lawfull men of my Balywick

        A schedule of the goods of Stephen Odear taken by Virtue of an attachment for the Use of Joseph
    Tillman we whose Names are under Written being Lawfully Somoned and Sworn by the sher do Value
    the goods as followeth vizt
To six peices of Earthen ware
To 3 old Blancketts
To one old Iron Kettle
To one old bed and Bolster
                                           in money

 And the afd Ambross Riggin Garnishee of the
afd Stephen Odear at the Same day altho' Solemnly
Called Came not but made default nor shew
cause why &a
                Whereupon the said Joseph Tillman
by his attorney aforesaid present herein Court prays
In tobacco To 3 Chaires
old Lumber
an ax
One old pan & pott Hooks
Old fire Tongs
To Seven Harrow Teeth
To 2 Grubing hoes
one drawing Knife & adz
One Sett of Wedges
Plow and Coulter
to 2 plow Chaines
an old bed Stead
to one old Gunn
an old Chest & two Earthen potts
to 2 Empty Barrells

 that upon giving Security according to act of assembly in such Case made
and provided the afd Severall goods and Chattells so as afd attached
of the value of two pounds Ninteen shillings & one penney Curr.t money
and Seven hundred & thirty four pounds of tobo may be Condemned
in the hands of the said Ambross Riggin as the proper goods and Chattells
of the afd Stephen Odear towards Satisfying unto the Said Joseph Tillman
his damages afd to witt Seven pounds Eleven shillings and Eight pence
Curr.t money and also all Cots and Charges accrewing by means of the
attachment afd &a
                Thereupon Robert King of Somerset County Gent present
herein Court n his proper person undertakes for the
         said Joseph Tillman according to act of assembly that in Case the said Stephen Odear do at
any time within a year and a day appear and make all or any part of the said Joseph Tillmans
Claim against him appear to be satisfied or otherwise to have Been undue before the Laying of the attachmt
afd that then the said Joseph Tillman shall make restitution unto the said Stephen Odear of all or
any part thereof as shall be made appear to be undue &.a or that he the said Robert King will do the
