197 Samuel Wilson of a plea of trespass upon the Case according to Law and that by good and Lawfull men of your bailywick you make known unto the person or persons in whose hands you make the same attachment that he she or they be and appear before our Justices of our County Court to be held as af.d to shew cause if any he she or they have why the same goods Chattles rights or Creditts so attached in his her or their hands ought not to be Condemned and Execution there of had and made According to act of assembly (in such case made and provided) if to him her or them it shall seem meet and how you shall Execute this writ that you make know unto our said Justices at the day and place af.d and have you then and there this Writ Wittness John Smith ^Gent^ one of our Justices of our said Court the twentieth day of March Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty five Att which said third Tuesday of June (to witt) the fifteenth day of the Same month anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty Six Came the said Samuel Wilson by Geo Douglas his attorney and the Sheriff of Somerset County to whom the foregoing writt was directed Likewise Cometh & maketh return thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words Following Viz.t I hereby Certifie that on the Eleventh of June I attached in somerset County of the goods and Chattells of Thomas Gray to the Value of four pounds twelve shillings as by a Schedule hereunto annexed may appear and those goods and Chattells in due form of Law did Cause to be appraised and for the use of Samuel Wilson within Mentioned so answers Jos: MaClester sher A Schedule of the goods of Thomas Gray attached for Capt Samuel Wilson and appointed as follows
Isaac I Holland marke Whereupon Came hereinto Court the said Samuel Wilson by George Douglas his attorney afd and prays that upon giving Security according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided the goods and Chattells afd ^attached^ may be Condemned as the goods and Chattells of the afd Thomas Gray towards Satisfying unto the said Samuel Wilson his damages and al Costs and Charges accrewing by means of the attachm.t afd Thereupon a Certain George Gale of Somerset County Gent present herein Court in his proper person undertook for the said Samuel Wilson according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided that if in Case the said Thomas Gray do at any time within a year and a day appear and make all or any part of the said Samuel Wilsons Claim against him appear to be satisfied or otherwise to have been |
