180 and six pence Currant money of maryland and that the said John Kenney be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of his fine afd Likewise it is ordered by the Court here that the said John Kenney give security for the payment of the severall Officers Fees due by means of the premisses afd thereupon Henry Ballard of Somerset County Gent present herein Court undertakes for the said John Kenney for to pay the Severall Officers Fees due as afd in Case the said John Kenney doth not pay the same &.a
held for Somerset County af.d to witt at dividing Creek in the County af.d the Sixteenth day of march in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and thirty five before John Smith Gen.t and his associates the said Lord proprietary his Justices of the same County Court and for the same Lord proprietary doth give the same Justices hereto understand and be Informed that Isaac Knott late of Somerset County Carpenter the tenth day of January Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty five at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain John Kenney of the same County planter an assault did make and him then and there did beat wound and evilly treat so that of his life it was Greatly despaired and other harms to him then and there did to the great damage of the same John Kenney and against the peace of the said Lord proprietary for the same Lord proprietary prayeth the advise of the Court herein the primisses and that due process of law in that part against the af.d Isaac Knott may be made to answer unto the same Lord proprietary of and upon the premisses &.c Thereupon Command was given to the sheriff of Somerset County that he should take the said Isaac Knott if &.c to answer &.c and afterwards to witt the sixteenth day of march Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty five before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here held at dividing Creek in and for the same County Came the said Isaac Knott in his proper person according to a Certain recognizance by him and his Security before acknowledged and had a hearing of the Information af.d who thereupon saith that of the trespass and assault af.d as by the Information af.d above upon him is Imposed he is guilty thereof Whereupon all ^and^ singuler the premisses by the Court here being seen heard and fully understood &.c It is considered by the Justices here that the said Isaac Knott pay unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary for his fine by the Court here upon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the trespass and assault af.d whereof in form af.d he is Convict two shillings and six pence Currant money of maryland and that the said Isaac Knott be taken to testifie his said Lordship of his fine af.d Likewise it is ordered by the Court here that the said Isaac Knott give security for the payment of the severall officers Fees due by means of the premisses af.d thereupon Henry Ballard of Somerset County Gen.t present herein Court undertakes for the said Isaac Knott for to pay the severall officers Fees due as afd in Case ye said Isaac Knott doth not pay the same &a |
