and honestly every where willingly she shall do and in all things as a good and faithfull apprentice shall demean
herselfe towards her said master and all his during the term afd &a  In Consideration of which service the said Rand.ll
Smullen present here in Court in his proper person Covenanth with the Justices of the Same Court in manner &
form following that is to say that he the said Randall Smullen during the term afd Shall and will Learn his
said apprentice to read well in the bible and to knitt sew and Spinn and Other houswifery and when his said apprentice
shall arrive at the age of fourteen years give her a young Cow of about three Years old and at the Expiration
of her Servitude give her a new Suit of Cloaths over and above her Common wearing Cloaths and Likewise
provide for his said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for her to have and wear during
the term afd &a   Upon this the said Randall Smullen is ordered by the Court here to give Security for
to Comply with the Covenants aforesaid  Thereupon the said Randall Smullen with John Denston of Somerset
County planter his Security both present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto the said Sarah Adams in five pounds Sterling Each of their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or
tenements ^seperately^ to the Use of the Said Sarah Adams ^her heirs or assigns^ to be made and Levied   If it happen that the said Rand.ll
Smullen do not during the term afd Learn his said apprentice to read well in the Bible and to Knitt sew
and Spinn and Other houswifery and do not give unto his said apprentice when she shall arrive at the

dec.d having arrived at full age ^according to law^ for the Chosing of his Guardian Came hereinto Court
in his proper person and prays that he may be admitted for to Chose James
                                  Givans of Somerset County Gent as his guardian which is to him granted &a
Thereupon the said William Givans present herein Court as afd makes Choice of the said James Givans
as his guardian accordingly   Whereupon a Certain Benjamin Venables is ordered to deliver up unto the
afd Guardian all the Estate of the said William Givans that he hath in his hands both reall & personall
and that the said Guardian Receive the same and further it is Ordered by the Court here that the said James
Givans ^Give^ security for to Comply with the Guardianship afd &a

       Thereupon the said James Givans with Edward Rownd of Somerset County Gent his Security both present herein Co.t
in their proper persons acknowledge themselves Indebted unto the said WIlliam Givans in the Sum of One
hundred pounds Sterling Each of their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements Seperately to be made
and Levied to the Use of the said William Givans his heirs and assignes   If it happen that the said James
