of the s.d bill to the s.d Susannah in her Capacity afores.d when thereunto
requested he would well & truly content and pay and the s.d
Robert and Susannah in fact say that the Debt Cost damage &
charge afores.d in the whole amounts to the sum of twelve pounds
four Shillings & three pence Sterling of which the s.d Richard the
day and year last mentioned at Somerset County afores.d by the hands
of the s.d Susannah whilst she was sole had notice  Nevertheless the
s.d Richard his promise and assumption afores.d in form afores.d
made not regarding but plotting and fraudulently intending the s.d
Alexander in his life time and the afores.d Susannah whilst she
sole after the death of the s.d Alexander the s.d Robert and Susannah
after y.e Espousals between them celebrated craftily and
Subtilly to deceive & defraud the s.d twelve pounds four Shillings &
three pence Sterling to the afores.d Alexander in his life time or
to the afores.d Susannah since y.e decease of the s.d Alexander whilst
she was sole or to the afores.d Robert and Susannah since the Espousals
between them Celebrated tho' often thereunto requested
hath not paid or in any sort for the same contented and the s.d
Richard the same to the s.d Robert & Susannah to pay still doth
refuse & deny to the retarding them in y.e Execution of the last will
& Testament afores.d whereupon they say they are worse & have
damage to the value of twenty pounds Sterling money and thereupon
they bring Suite &a and bring into Court the L.rs testamentary
of the af.d Alex.r by which &.a      pledges de p8    John Doe
                                                                             R Roe

       And the aforesaid Richard Waters by William Beckingham his
attorney cometh and defendeth the force and Injury when &.a and
prays leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he
hath it and the same day is given to the af.d Robert Geddes and
Susannah his wife herealso &.a

       Att which said next Court to witt the Seventeenth day of June
Ann: Dom: One thousand Seven hundred and thirty five came againe
as well the af.d Robert Geddes and Susannah his wife as the aforesaid
Richard Waters by their attorneys af.d and whereupon the same
Richard Waters prays further leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill
next Court & he hath it and the same ^day^ is given to the af.d Robert
Geddes and Susannah his wife herealso &.a

           Att which said next Court to witt the Nineteenth day of
August Ann: Dom: One thousand Seven hundred and thirty
five came againe as well the af.d Robert Geddes and Susannah
his wife as the af.d Richard Waters by their attorneys af.d and
Whereupon the same Richard Waters prays further leave thereof
to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he hath it and the same
day is given to the af.d Robert Geddes & Susannah his wife herealso &.a
