                               Att a Court of the right honourable Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces
    of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &a held at dividing Creek in the Same County the
    third tuesday of June to witt the Seventeenth day of the same month and in the twenty first Year of his
    said Lordships dominion &.a anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty five by his said Lordships
    Justices the peace in the Same County to keep assigned of whom were present

Caldwell Christopher Piper John Larrimore Joshua Sturges Wm Adams Edward Beachamp Cornelius Dickerson
William Gray Manocan John Kellum John Aydelott John Collins Thomas Larrimore John Bevins
Richard Nicholson Hutton Hill James Houston & Underwood Rencher the Jurors afd being Severally
Called Over did appear and were Sworn and Charged and sent out to Consider &a soon after the Orphan
Jury afd being Impannelled & Sworn and Charged as afd returned here into Court and being Severally Called
Over did appear and being asked if they had agreed or any presentments answered no thereupon they
were discharged &a

To the worshipfull Court now sitting the humble petition of Nehemiah Holland and most of the
neighbours in Mattapony neck humbly prays your worships to appoint persons to Lay of a
             road from Vergenia line to girdle tree hill it being Laid out in ackcomack to the Line it being
severall miles nearer for people to pass up and down the County as your petitioners Shall ever pray
Nehemiah Holland John Purnall, Fisher Walton, William Aydelott Bowden Robins & Johnson Hill
    which being read and heard and the premisses Considered  It is thereupon Ordered by the Court here
that Mess.rs William Lane and John Purnall mete at a Certain time and place by them to be appointed so
soon as possible and Lay out a road and Cause the Same to be Cleared from the Line that parts Vergenia from
Somerset County near the plantation of Silas Chapman to girdle tree hill and that the said Road be Laid
out and Cleared the Nearest & Best way and of the last of prejudice to any person or persons & that Philip
be Overseer of the Same Road &a
