on behalfe of his said Lordship against a Certain Stephen Winwright and do not depart the Same Court

                                    The Jurors for the Right Honourable the Lord
propritary that now is for the body of Somerset County aforesaid upon
their Oath do present that Margaret Causey Late of Stepney parish
    in the County aforesaid Spinster the tenth day of November in the Year of Our Lord God Seventeen
    hundred and thirty three at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court did
    Committ fornication with a Certain persons to the Jurors afd unknown and did permitt the same
    unknown person then and there to have Carnall knowledge of her body and to beget then and there
    there a bastard Child on the body of her the Same Margaret to the high displeasure of almighty God
    to the Evill Example of all others in such Case Offending Contrary to the peace of the Said Lord
    proprietary that now is his good rule and Government and against the act of assembly in Such Case
    Lately made and provided      Test Mitchell Dashiell

                   On the backside of the foregoing bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed vizt

    Billa Vera   John Purnall foreman

       Thereupon Command was given to the sher of Somerset County that he should take
    the said Margaret Causey if &a to answer &a and afterwards to witt the twentieth day of
    November One thousand Seven hundred and thirty three before the Justices of his Lordships
    County Court of Somerset was held at dividing Creek in and for the County afd in her proper
    person Came the said Margaret Causey and being Instantly demanded how she would acquitt herselfe
    of the premisses afd says that of the premisses afd she is guilty thereof and makes oath
    that a Certain William Langsdale is the begetter of the Child that she stands Indicted for and is willing
    to pay her fine for the fact afd &a

                   Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the afd Margaret Causey pay unto his
    Lordship the Lord proprietary for her fine here upon her Imposed by Occasion of the premisses afd
    whereof in form afd she is Convict thirty shillings Currant mony toward the defraying of the County
    Charge and that the said Margaret Causey be taken to Satisfie his said Lordship of the fine afd

    whereupon the said Margaret Causey is ordered to give Security for the payment of the Severall Officers
    their fees due as afd but for want thereof the said Margt Causey is Committed into the Custody of the
    sher of Somerset County there to remain &a    the said sher to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent present tooke
    Charge of the said Margt Causey accordingly &a
