1733 40 Ordered by the Court here that George Olliphant have an order on Joshua Caldwell high sherr of Somerset County for Eight hundred pounds of tobacco he bringing in the bes second best peice of Linnen according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &c Ordered that Richard Knight have an order on Joshua Caldwell high sher of Somerset County for Six hundred pds of tobacco he bringing in the third best peice of Linnen according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &.a Ordered by the Court that John Hales pay unto Elianor Covington Ninty pounds of tobacco it being due unto her for her attendance three days as an Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against the said John Hailes she having made Oath to the Same &c Ordered by the Court that John Hailes pays unto James Jones and John Covington One hundred and twenty pounds of tobacco Each it being due unto them for their attendance four days Each as Evidences on behalf of the said His Lordship the Lord proprietary against the said John Hailes they having made oath to the same &c Ordered that John Goldsmith pay unto Dorman Heath Sixty pounds of tobacco it being due unto him for two days attendance on behalf of his Lordship against the said John Goldsmith he having made oath to the same &c Ordered that Elias Beavins pay unto William Arbuckle thirty pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his Attendance One day as an Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against the said Elias Beavins he having made Oath to the same &c Ordered by the Court here that Edward Harper pay unto John Denston and Stephen Coston Ninty pounds of tobacco Each for their attendance three days Each (on behalfe of his Lordship) as Evidences against the said Edward Harper they having made Oath to the Same &c Ordered that Grace Webb pay unto Samuel Webb four hundred and fifty pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance as an Evidence ^fifteen days^ on behalfe of the said Grace Webb against Luke Bowen he having made Oath to the Same &c Ordered that Willioam Wye Jun.r and Mary his wife pay unto William Horsey Ninty pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance three days as an Evidence on behalfe of the said W.m and Mary against Tunstall and Spence Hauk he having made Oath to the Same &c
