Gent Greeting know yee that wee have appointed you or any three or two
of you to be our Commissioners to Examine Evidences on behalf of a Certain
James Robertson of said County Clerk in Relation to the bounds of a tract of
land lying on Monocan river in the County af.d Called more & Case it  Wee therefore
Require you or any three or two of you at Some time and place as to you
or any three or two of you shall seem Convenient you meet on the af.d land
Called More & Case it (you first having taken your Oaths on the holy Evangelist
of Almighty God according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided)
and there Cause to Come before you or any three or two of you all such
Evidences as shall be to you or any three or two of you Nominated by the
said Complainent or def.t if any and that you or any three or two of you Examine
them upon their Corporall Oaths to be by you or any three or two of you
Administred on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God in the presents of the
Complainent or Deft if any touching the truth or Rememberance of their
knowledge or any thing that may relate to the Cause af.d and that Reduceing
the Severall depositions into writing you send the same together with this
our Commission ^under^ your or any three or two of your hands and seals to us to
our County Court of Somerset with all Convenient Speed Wittness
Robert King Gent Chief Justice of our said Court the twenty Seventh day
of November In the twentieth year of our Dominion &.a Ann Dom One
thousand Seven hundred and thirty four

    On the backside of the foregoing Commission it was thus Endorsed Viz.t
Dec.r 27.th 1734   Then was Quallified before the Subscriber one of the Lord
proprietarys Justices of the peace for Somerset County the within named
William Stoughton John Elzey & William McClamy well and truly to
Execute this Commission agreeable to act of assembly in Such Case
provided                                                before            RKing
                                                                                   1731
The Execution of the within Commission appears
by the severall depositions and other papers hereunto annexed
Somerset County ss
Maryland
     To the worshipfull the Justices
of the peace for the County of Somerset
Wee humbly Certifie that persuant to
Willm Stoughton
John Elzey
Wm McClemmy
the directions of a Commission from your worships
to us directed to Examine wittnesses to prove and perpetuate the boundarys
of a tract of land called Morancas it lying on Monocan river
in County af.d  we have caused to be brought before us William Boseman
