of November then next to answer unto Richard Gildart Esq.r of a plea of
trespass upon the Case &a           And that thereof he should not fail &a
Att which said third Tuesday of November to witt the ninteenth day of
the same month ann Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty four
being the day of the return of the said writt cometh the said Richard Gildart
by Wm Goldsborough his attry and the Sher of Somerset County to whom the foregoing
writt was directed likewise Comes and makes return thereof to the Court
here Endorsed Cepi Corpus p Joseph Macclester Sher

    And the aforesaid Thomas Fletcher by William Beckingham his attorney Cometh and defendeth
the force and Injury when &a and Offers himselfe against the said Richard Gildart in the plea
afd but the said Richard Gildart altho Solemnly Called Comes not nor is is writt afd further
prosecuted against the said Thomas Fletcher &a

    Therefore he and his pledges of prosecuting be in mercy and the plft name his
pledges &a and that the aforesaid Thomas Fletcher go thereof without day also it is Considered
that the afd Thomas Fletcher recover against the afd Richard Gildart Esqr his damages by occasion
153   of the p[remisses to one hundred & fifty three                        pounds of tobacco to the
same Thomas by discretion of the Justices here at his request for his Costs and Charges in that
part Sustained according to the form of the Statute &a by the Court here adjudged &a

    Command was given tot he sheriffe of Somerset County that he
should take John Murray late of Somerset County Feltmaker if he
should be found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so
that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of
Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November then
next to answer unto Joshua Sturges of a plea of trespass upon the Case &a
and that thereof he should not fail &.a

    Att which said third Tuesday of November to witt the ninteenth day of the
same Month ann Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty four being
the day of the return of the said writt cometh the said Joshua Sturges by
WIlliam Goldsborough his attorney and the sheriff of Somerset County to whom
the foregoing writt was directed likewise Comes and makes return thereof to the

       And the aforesaid John Murray by George Douglas his attorney Cometh and
defendeth the force and Injury when &.a and offers himself against the said Joshua
Sturges in the plea but the said Joshua Sturges altho' solemnly called
Comes not nor is his writt af.d further prosecuted against the said John Murray &a
