aforesaid forty one pounds fourteen Shillings and Eight pence Curr.t paper
money of the province of maryland in manner and form as the af.d Peter above
against him hath declared &.a

Therefore it is Considered that the aforesaid Peter Stewart recover against the
aforesaid George Bowen his debt af.d and ^his^ damage by occasion of the detaining
280   of the Same debt to Two hundred & Eighty                                         pound of
Tobacco to the same Peter Stewart of his assent by the Court here adjudged &
the aforesaid George in mercy &.a

October ye 19.th 1734  Came Jonathan Sturgis before me the Subscriber and made
Oath on the holy Evangelists that the within acc.t is Just and true as it stands
stated and that neither he or any other person by his order hath ever rec.d
any part or percell of the same Except what he has given creditt for
    Sworn before me                                                   Jam.s Martin

Whereas Oath hath been made before me the Subscriber by Jonathan Sturgis
that a Certain Joseph Gabey is departed this province as he is Credibly inform'd
with a design to defraud his Credittors of which he is one    he therefore prays
the bennifitt of the act of assembly in that Case that an attachment may Issue
against the said Gabeys Effects given under my hand this 14.th day of October

          To Mr Thomas Hayward Cl.k of Somrsett County

    Pursuant to an act of assembly of this province now in force and in
obedience to the above said warrant the following attachment was Issued
against the goods Chattles rights or Creditts of the af.d Joseph Gabey the
tenor of which writt followeth in these words Viz.t

Somerset ss  Charles absolute Lord and prop.ry of the provinces of maryland
and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.a  To the Sher of Somerset County
Greeting we Command you that you attach any the goods Chattles Rights
or Creditts of Joseph Gabey late of Somerset County planter if they shall
be found in your bailywick to the value of one pounds six shilling Curr.t
money & two hundred & fifty pounds of tobacco and when you have the
same attached or any part thereof the same in your Custody safe keep so
