full term afd during which term the said William Heath his said master well and faithfully shall serve
his secretts keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly every where willingly shall do and in all things
as good and faithfull apprentice shall demean himselfe towards his said Master & all his during the
term afd &a
                                           In consideration of which service the said Thomas Gillis present here
in Court in his proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in manner and form following that
is to say that he the said Thomas Gillis during the term afd will give his said apprentice a years Schoolling &
Cloath him well and at the Expiration of his Servitude and Likewise provide for his said apprentice meat
drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for him to have & wear during the servitude afd &a

       Whereupon it is ordered by the Court here that the said Thomas Gillis Give Recognizance in ten pounds
sterling for to Comply with the Covenants afd   thereupon the said Thomas Gillis present here in Court acknowledged
himselfe Indebted unto the said William Heath in tenn pounds Sterling of his body goods or Chattells
Lands or tenements to be made & Levied to the Use of the said William Heath his heirs or assignes If it
happen that the said Thomas Gillis do not during the service afd give his said apprentice a years schoolling
and do not at the Expiration of his servitude Cloath him well and do not provide for his said apprentice
meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for Such an apprentice to have & wear during the term afd &a

    To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County now in Court Setting the humble petition of John
Harris sheweth.    that whereas your petitioner hath been lame of one of his arms for this
Twenty years and now am very Old so that Jam Searce able to work with it therefore pray your worships
Compassion to sett your petition Clear of working upon the high way and your petitioner as in duty bound
shall ever pray
                                           The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation
thereupon had wherefore it is Considered that the afd John Harris be discharged from working on
the road as by the petition afd is praid &a

Sirman and John Disharoon all of somerset County Gent Greeting know ye that wee
have appointed you or any three or two of you to be our Commissioners to Examine Evidences
on behalf of a Certain Thomas ^Gillis^ of the County afd in Relation to the bounds of part of a tract
of land Called Bedlam Green wee therefore require you or any three or two of you at some time
and place as to you or any three or two of you shall seem Convenient you meet on the af.d land
called Bedlam Green (you first having taken your oaths on the holy Evangelist of almighty
God according to an act of assembly in Such Case lately made and provided) and their Cause to
come before you or any three or two of you all Such Evidences as shall be to you or any
three or two of you nominated by the said Complainent or defd.t if any and that you or any
three or two of you Examine them upon their Corporall oaths to be by you or any three or
two of you administred on the holy Evangelist of almighty God in the presents of the
