    Whereupon the said Francis Elliott Cometh here into Court in his proper person and thereupon the
said Francis Elliott at the prayer of the afd William Gunn is adjudged to give speciall bail to the action
afd   Thereupon Came here into Court a Certain Aaron Lynn of Somerset County planter and undertook
for the Same Francis Elliott and assumed upon himselfe (Likewise the same Francis Ellitt present here
in Court as afd ^likewise^ assumed upon himselfe) that if in Case the said William Gunn should recover Judgm.^t
in the plea afd against the said Francis Elliott or that the said Francis Elliott should be therein Convict
that then he the said Francis Elliott shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or render his
body to the Custody of the sherriff of Somerset County in satisfaction thereof or that he the said Aaron
Lynn will do the same for him &.^a      Whereupon the said Francis Elliott by George Dashiell his
attorneys ^Comes^ and defends the force and Injury when &.^a and prays Leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill
next Court and he hath it and the Same day is Given to the afd William here also &^a

       Att which said next Court to witt the twenty first day of August ann^o Dom One thousand
seven hundred and thirty three Came again as well the afd William Gunn as the afd
Francis Elliott by their attorneys afd and whereupon the said William Gunn prays that the afd
Francis Elliott to his declaration afd may answer but the said Francis altho' Solemnly Called Cometh
not nor nothing says in barr or preclusion of the action afd of the afd William by which the same
William Remaineth against the afd Francis thereof undefended &.^a For that the aforesaid William
