1734 175 here before his Lordships Justices of his County Court of Somerset now held at dividing Creek in the County afd ^to answer the pet.n afd^ afterwards to witt the Eighteenth day of June anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty four before the Justices of his said Lordships County Court of Somerset now held at dividing Creek as afd Came the said sherriff to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent and made return that he had Sumoned the said Thomas Fletcher as afd he was Commanded thereupon afterwards Immediately Came here into Court as well the afd Thomas Johnson the petitioner as the afd Thomas Fletcher in their proper persons and the petition afd being read and heard and the severall allegations as well on the part of the said Thomas Fletcher as on the part of the petition ^heard and fully understood^ and Likewise the said Thomas Fletcher making it appear ^to the Court here^ that the said Thomas Johnson had runaway from him and absented himselfe out of his service sixteen days and Likewise that he had paid One hundred pounds of tobacco for the taking him up when runaway as afd and prays that the said Thomas Johnson may be adjudged to serve him for the Same runaway time and tobacco paid as afd &a Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the Said Thomas Johnson serve the said Thomas Fletcher his heirs or assignes twenty Eight days to Commence after the twenty first day of this Instant which is adjudged full satisfaction for the runaway time and tobacco paid as afd with what time he had already Served Over and above his Indented time Likewise the Said Thomas Fletcher is adjudged to pay unto the said Thomas Johnson his Freedom dues as by Law allowed &a as by the petitioned afd is praid &a
of ninteen pounds seventeen shillings Currant money of maryland to be paid unto the said W.m Sawser Bridgett Sawser Ann Sawser Alice Sawser and Benjamin Sawser their heirs Executors adm.rs or assignes to the which payment well and truely to be made and done we bind Our Selves and Either of Our heirs Executors or administrators for the whole and in the whole Joyntly and Severally firmly by these presents sealed with Our Seal and dated this thirtieth day of aprill ann.o Dom 1734 The Condition of the above Obligation is such that whereas the Commissary Generall hath transmitted into this Court the accompt of the Estate of William Sawser dec.d wherein it is found that there is ballance due to the abovsaid Orphans the Sum of nine pounds eighteen shillings and Six pence If therefore the abovesaid Alice Sawser her heirs Executors or administrators shall and do well and truely pay or Cause to be paid unto the above named William Sauser Bridget Sawser Ann Sawser Alice Sawser and Benjamin Sawser the afd Sum of nine pounds eighteen shillings and |
