of Maryland of which the said John by the hands of the afd Isaac on the first day of July anno Dom seventeen
hundred and thirty two had notice and that at Somerset County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court the said
Isaac then being of full age  Nevertheless the said John altho by the said Isaac on the afd first day of July
in the Year Last afd and Often afterwards at the County afd within the Jurisdiction afd he was thereunto
requested the said Sixteen pounds Currant money of this province unto the said Isaac hath not paid or Contented
but the Same to him hitherto to pay or Content hath refused and Still doth refuse and deny whereupon
he saith that he is worse and hath damage to the value of thirty pounds money afd and thereupon he
brings Suite &a                                                                            Pledges de o  Jno Doe
                                                                                                                               R Roe
                And the afd John White by William Beckingham his attorney Comes and defends the force and
Injury when &a and prays Leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he hath it and the same day is
Given to the afd Isaac Here also &a

                Att which said next Court to witt the twentieth day of march anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred
and thirty two Came againe as well the afd Isaac Beachamp as the afd John White by their attorneys afd and
whereupon the said John White prays further Leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he hath
it and the same day is Given to the afd Isaac here also &a

Att which said Next Court to Witt the Nineteenth Day of June Ann Dom One thousand seven
Hundred and thirty three Came Againe as well the afd Isaac Beachamp as the afd John White
by their attorneys afd and Whereupon the said John White prays further Leave thereof To Imparle
hereuntill Next Court and he hath it and the Same Day is Given to the afd Isaac herealso &a

          Att which said Next Court to Witt the Twenty first day of August Anno Dom One thousand
Seven hundred and thirty three Came againe as well the afd Isaac Beachamp as the afd John
White by their attorneys afd and Whereupon the said John White prays further Leave thereof to
Imparle hereuntill next Court & he hath it and the Same Day is Given to the afd Isaac herealso &a

          Att which said Next Court to Witt the twentieth Day of November Ann Dom One thousand
seven hundred and thirty three Came againe as well the afd Isaac Beachamp as the afd John
White by their attorneys afd and whereupon the said John White prays further Leave thereof to
Imparle hereuntill next Court & he hath it & the Same Day is Given to the afd Isaac herealso &a

          Att which said next Court to Witt the Nineteenth Day of March Ann Dom One thousand
seven hundred and thirty three Came againe as well the afd Isaac Beachamp as the afd John White
by their attorneys afd and whereupon the same John as before defends the force and Injury when &a and protesting
that the declaration afd and the matter in the same Contained are altogether Insufficient in Law for plea
Nevertheless he saith that he doth not Owe the said sixteen pounds Curr.t money or any penny thereof
and thereof he putts himselfe upon the Country &a    and the afd plft in Like manner

          Thereupon it is Commanded the sher of Somerset County that Immediately he Should Cause to
       Come here before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now in Court Sitting at dividing
Creek in the County afd twelve &a by whom &a and who neither &a to recognize &a because as well &a and afterwards
Immediately Cause thereof the Jury &a and the Jurors of that Same Jury by Joshua Caldwell Gent sherriff of
