138 Charles Ramsey shall make restitution unto the said Thomas Boarman of all or such part as shall be made appear to be undue as afd or that he the said John Dennis Jun.r will do the same for him &a Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd sum of One thousand pounds of tobacco so as afd attached be Condemned in the hands of the said William Houston, Peter Beckett and William Jones as of the Rights and Creditts of the said Thomas Boarman towards satisfieing unto the said Charles Ramsey his damages and all Costs and Charges by means of the attachment afd and that the said Charles ramsey have thereof Execution &a
Sheweth that whereas your petitioners have had a road these forty years through our Lands and have maintained the same at our Own Cost which said road is now Stopt up by Charles Dickerson so that we Cannot pass to Our Lands without great prejudice and inconvenience to your worshipts petitioners we therefore pray that your worships will Grant such order that your petitioners have our old road Continued it not being prejudiciall to the said Charles Dickerson or any other person whatsoever and we will maintain the Same at Our Own Costs and as in duty bound shall ever pray &a Darby Riggin & the rest The petition afd being Read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had wherefore It is Considered and Ordered by the Court here that John Scott ^of Somerset County Gent^ Lay out a road for the Inhabitants afd the Nearest and best ^way^ and the Least of prejudice to any person as by the petn afd is praid &a I the Subscriber One of his Lordships Justices of Somerset County do hereby Certifie that on the second day of aprill 1734 Came before me John Stewart and took the Several Oaths to the Government and the Oath of undersherriffe and Subscribed the test and Oath of abjuration Intestimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand this 3d day of Aprill 1734 Willm Stoughton Ordered by the Court that James Train be Overseer of the Roads from Jenckinses Hickory to Trains Sevannough and from thence to Rewastico mill and from Fering Hill Road opposite from Jane Donelsons plantation into the road that Leads from Quantico to rewastico and to the uper Landing by James Givanses plantation &a Ordered that Robert Collier be Overseer from Capt John MccClesters along by Wm Vaughans into the main Road and from the bridge at the head of Tipquin to Colloways tree and from his own house to the great Beach &a Ordered that Thomas Covington ^be overseer^ of the roads from the Cyprus ^bridge^ to the Chappell at Spring hill and from the Cypruss Bridge into the main Road that Leads by John Rickett's &a |
