By Vertue and in Obedience to the within Order we the Subscribers have Layed out &
settled a road for Richard Wallace to his Marsh on Dam Quarter through the Land
of Edward Roberts begining in the Road Leading from Richard Wallace to the Main
road that runs Through Dam Quarter Island and at the southermost End of the said
Edward Roberts Plantation he now dwells on thence to the Marsh of the said
Wallace Through the woodland ground Lying between the Plantation of the
said Edw.d Roberts and the plantation James Brookshaw formerly Dwellt on
Given Under our hands this 7 day of may Anno Dom 1731         John Elzey

                                                            Ordered that Mess.rs Thomas Dixon and Thomas Williams View
and Inspect a road that Henry Miles had then orders to turn he makeing the Same New Road as Good
and passable as the Old and to be done according to the direction of the Said Thomas Dixon and Thomas Williams and they
to make their Report to next Court &.c      P order   Thomas Hayward Cl Cur Court Som.r

       On the back Side of the foregoeing order it was Endorsed vizt   June ye 15.th 1731
                      We the Subscribers met on the Spott and did view the within Mentioned Road and find it not fully
    Complyed with but Henry Miles has promised that he will not Stop up the old road till he has Complyed with

     To the worshipfull his Lordships Justices of the peace for Somerset County the Humble petition
of James Caldwell (Guardian of James Gibbans and John Gibbans orphans of James Gibbans Late decd)
Humbly Sheweth that Pursuant to your Worships order your Petioner hath
       made a Demand of the Estate of the above Mentioned orphans both Real
       and Personall from M.r Joseph Venables which he Refuseth to Deliver
       therefore your Petitioner Humbly prayeth that your Worships will be
       pleased to order the said Venables to appear before you Next Court to answere
       the afd contempt and your Humble petitioner as in duty bound shall Ever
       pray            The petition aforesaid being Read and heard &.c   wherefore it is Commanded the Sher of Somerset County that
he Should Sommons the Said Joseph Venables if he Should be found in his bailywick that all Excuses Set apart he Should be
    and appear before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Dividing Creeks the third tuesday
    of June then next to answer unto the petition aforesaid &.c   and that thereof he Should not fail &c
