                                                                                                                     And the Said Benjamin Houston being Called
                                                                                                 appears and thereupon the Said Benj.a Houston at the prayer
of the plft by his attorney aforesaid is adjudged to Give Speciall bail to the action afd thereupon a Certain John
Atkinson present herein Court undertakes for the Said Benjamin Houston that if in Case the Said Christopher Glass Should
Recover Judgm.t in the plea afd against the Said Benj.a Houston or that the Said Benjamin Houston Should be therein
Convict that then he the Said Benjamin Houston Shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or Render his
body to the Custody of the Sher of Somerset County in Satisfaction thereof or that he the Said John Atkinson will
do it for him
                               Whereupon the Said Benjamin Houston by in his Own proper person Comes and defends the force and
Injury when &.c and Saith that he Cannot Gainsay the plft his action aforesaid to as afd against him brought nor Can he
Say but that the Said plft ought to recover his damages by occasion of the premisses afd to sevent Sixteen pounds
Six Shillings and Seven pence halfe peny Currant mony wherefore the Said plft prays Judgmt for those damages afd
Confessed and his Costs and Charges to him adjudged &c

                            Therefore by Consent of the parties aforesaid it is Considered that the afd Christopher Glass
       Recover against the afd Benjamin Houston his damages aforesaid to the afd Sixteen pounds Sixteen Shillings and
379    and Seven pence halfe penny Curr.t money by the Same Benj.a in form afd Confessed as also three hundred &
379   Seventy Nine                               pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges to the Same Christopher of of his
assent by the Court here adjudged and ye afd deft in mercy &c



                                                                   The Court Adjourns till the third tuesday of June Next 1731
