                             And the aforesaid James Lindow by James Shirley his attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury
       when &.c and prays Leave to Imparle here unto untill the next Court and he hath it and the Same day is Given
       to the aforesaid John here also &.c

                   Att which Said next Court to witt the Sixteenth day of March ann.o Dom One thousand Seven hundred
and thirty Came again as well the aforesaid John Stewart as the aforesaid James Lindow by their attorneys
aforesaid and whereupon the Said James Lindow by his Said attorney as before defends the force and Injury
when &.c and Saith that he did not assume upon himselfe in manner and form as the aforesaid John above
against him hath Complained and of this he putts himselfe upon the Country

          Whereupon the dispute in this action is by the Court and Consent of the parties Refered to Thomas Dashiell John
    Donelson James Martin and Isaac fleming all of Somerset County Gent.m or any three of them according to the
    Statute and that Judgment be on the Return of this Court and afterwards to witt the Same day and Year
    aforesaid Came Thomas Dashiell, John Donelson James Martin and Isaac Fleming the persons mentioned in the
    aforesaid Rule of reference and makes Return of the Rule their award in the premisses as followeth viz.t

          Wee the Subscribers Chosen by Mr John Stewart and Capt James Lindow to Settle their accounts depending
between them do award that Capt James Lindow pay unto the afd Stewart the Sum of Eleven pounds one
Shilling and Eight pence Currant money of Maryland which we do adjudge to be the ballance due to ye said Stewart
as wittness our Hands   Thos Dashiell, John Donelson, James Martin & Isaac Fleming
which being Read and heard         Therefore it is Considered that the afd John Stewart Recover against the afd
James Lindow the Sum of Eleven pounds One Shilling and Eight pence Curr.t mony his damages afd by the arbitrators
afd found as also three hundred & Eighty Eight                                                      pounds of tobacco for his Costs
388   and Charges to the Same John Stewart by the Court hereof his assent adjudged and the afd James Lindow
in mercy &c
