67 Att which said Next Court to witt the Eighteenth Day of August Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty Came againe as well the afd John Willi^a^mson as the afd Lazarus Mattox by their attorneys afd and whereupon the same Lazarus prays further Leave to Imparl here untell the Next Court and he had it and the same day is Given to the aforesaid John here also &.c Att which said Next Court to Witt the seventeenth Day of Novemb.r Ann Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty Came again as well the afd John Willi^a^mson as the afd Lazarus Mattox by their attorneys afd whereupon the same Lazarus prays further Leave to Imparle here Untill the Next Court and he had it and the Same Day is Given to the aforesd John here also &.c Att which said Next Court to witt the sixteenth Day of March anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Came again as well the afd John Williamson as the afd Lazarus Mattox by their attorneys afd and the Said Lazarus Maddox as before defends the force and Injury when &.c and says that he did not assume upon himself in manner and form as the Aforesaid John against him in his declaration aforesaid hath declared and of this he putts himselfe upon the Country &.c whereupon the afd John Williamson altho' Solemnly Called to rejoyne to the plea of the aforesaid Lazarus above pleaded Cometh not but makes default nor ^is^ his declaration afd above specified against the said Lazarus as further prosecuted Therefore it is Considered that the aforesaid John Williamson and his pledges of prosecuting to witt John Doe and Richard Roe be in mercy and that the af Lazarus Goe thereof without day and that it is Considered that the afd Lazarus Maddox Recover against the afd John Williamson two hundred 279 & Seventy Nine pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges by him about his defence in that part sustained to the Same Lazarus by the Court here of his assent according to the form of the Statute in Such manner of Case Lately made and provided adjudged and the afd Lazarus have thereof Execution &c
twenty eight at Somerset County afd within the Jur of this Court was possesed of the Goods and Chattells following viz.t one broad Cloath Coat one Double brested Rateen Coat one Riding or Graziers coat one broad Cloath vest and shagg breeches one pair sergede N[illegible] breeches Line with Shammy one Holland tick bedd and flocks one New White frize bla^n^kett Containing five Yards one Rugg one pair Flannell Drawers five half worn broadcloth vest five other vests four old holland shirts three Half worn d.o one New Cotton Handkerchief one Cypress or Mourning Hatt band Nine pair of Stockins one hand Saw one pair New thred Stockins one new Silk Capp one New Cotton Capp one New razor one old Razor one Hone two calliva Night Capps one Callicoe and two Check Linnen pillow cases the Silk huswifes one midling and one Large paid or Brass Compasses one pruning Knife one penn knife one pair of Steel feathers for scraping Gum barrils one brass thimble one saile makers palme one Gi^m^blett one pair wine Coopers Nippers one pair Marking Irons two handles three acol blades one Quire of writting paper ^Europes^ waggoner in three vollums Lemans Callendar and one history book one Valluett Stock one New Chest Lock one New Journall book one bottle full of Gunpouder Containing two pounds one Sea Chest two Silk handkerchief |
