Somerset ss     Be it remembred that upon the Sixteenth day of march Ann.o Dom
one thousand seven hundred and thirty came into Somrset County Court here
Levin Gale Clk of Indictments for the said County and for the L.d Proprietary
of this Province that now id given the Court to under Stand and be Informed that Phillip
Selby Late of Somerset County Planter the tenth day of June Ann.o Dom one thousand seven
hundred and thirty at and for a tract of Land Called Robisons Inheritance belonging to
Johnson Hill and John Sturgis in alhollows Parish in Somrset County afd within
the Jur of this Court with force and arms did set up a boundary of Land in Lieu and
place of an original Boundary or bounded Trees without first Giveing Notice to all persons
Concerned in such Lands or having with him at the time of Setting up such Boundary
four Freeholders of this Neibourhood against the peace of the L.d Proprietary &.c and
against the forme of the Act of assembly in that Case made and provided whereof ye
said Levin Gale for the said L.d Proprietary Prays advisement of the Court herein the
Premises &.c                                                                        Levin Gale P L.d Propry

       Thereupon Command was Given to the Sher of Somerset County that he Should take the Said
       Philip Selby if &.c to answer his Said Lordship of and in the premisses afd &c      and now hereafterwards
       to witt the sixteenth day of march one thousand seven hundred and thirty Cometh here into Court
       before his Lordships Justices of the peace for ye County afd at dividing Creek the ^said^ Philip Selby in his proper
       person and hath a hearing of the Information afd and being thereupon Instantly demanded how
he would acquitt himselfe of the premisses afd above upon him Imposed says that he is not thereof
Guilty and of this he puts himselfe upon the Country and Levin Gale Esq.r who for his said Lordship in this
behalfe prosecutes Likewise &c

                Thereupon Command is Given to the Sher of Somerset County that Immediately he Cause to Come
here twelve &.c by whom &.c who neither &.c to recognize &.c becaus as well &.c of which said preceipt the
Said Sher to witt John Purnall Gent now hereat this day to witt the Same day and Year Last mentioned
cometh the Said Sher and maketh Return that he hath here ready twelve &.c as by his said preceipt he
was Commanded and now hereafterwards to witt the same day & year afd Cometh as well the afd
Levin Gale Esq.r who for his Said Lordship in this behalfe prosecutes as the afd Philip Selby in his proper
person and the Jurors of that Jury therein Impannelled being Called Likewise Came to witt W.m
Jones, Thomas Rayley, Isaac Marshall, Edward Franklin, John Holland, John Townsend, W.m Wright
Thomas Collins, Daniel Boyce, Angello Atkinson, John Hooffington and Philip Quinton who being
duely Elected tryed and Sworn to Say the truth in the premisses upon their oath do say that the Said Philip
Selby is not Guilty of hte premisses in manner and form above supposed &c            whereupon the
premisses by the Court here being seen heard and fully understood &c

       Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Philip Selby be quiet and Goe thereof without day &c

came here into Somerset County Court Levin Gale Cler of the Indictments for Somerset
county and for the Lord proprietary gives the Court to Understand and be
Informed that Esther Whitty Late of somerset County Spinster the tenth day of march one
thousand seven hundred and twenty nine at Somrset County afd did Comitt fornication
