1730 46 Mr James Shirley S.r I desire and Impower you to appear for me in all actions wherein I am Concerned for your so doing this Shall be Your warrent dated this 10th of June anno Dom 1730 W.m Marchment To Mr James Shirley attrny at Law Mr James Shirley S.r I desire you will appear for me as my attorney in all actions wherein I am Concerned now or may hereafter be Concerned in for so doing this Shall be your sufficient warrent dated this 10.th of June anno Dom 1730 To Mr James Shirley attorney at Law Charles Ramsey Whereas a Certain Philip Covington Returns a Certain Honour Norgate al.s Puckham to this Court for to Reemburst to Somerset County what tobacco they paid for Her as being a servant Crimanall Whereupon a Certain Abra Puckham Husband of the aforesaid Honour being present herein Court undertakes for the Said Honour to pay for her to the Use of Somerset County all the tobacco paid on her account to the Severall Officers in ye County afd or her account &c forasmuch as the prison is very much decayed so that it is not Sufficient for the Confirming and keeping of the prisoners that are Committed thereto &.c Wherefore it is ordered by the Court that John Scott, Francis Allen & Thomas Hayward meet at Some time and place by them to be appointed with all Convenient Speed to treat with Some persons or persons to make Such Repairations to the Said prison as may be found Necessary and those makeing Such repairations to be allowed for ye Same at the next Levy Court for ye County aforesaid &c
The court adjourns untill the third tuesday of march anno: 1730 |
