of tobacco and Six hundred and fifty pounds of Good Merchantable Beefe to be paid the Same Christopher
when thereof he Should be required  Nevertheless the af.d Deverix altho often required the af.d five
hundred and fifty pounds of Tobacco and Six hundred and fifty pounds of Beefe to the aforesaid Christopher
hath not rendered but the Same to him hitherto to render hath denyed and still doth deny
whereof he says that he is worse and hath damage to the value of one thousand pounds of Tobacco
and thirteen hundred pounds of beefe and thereof he brings Suit & brings herein Court the Writings
af.d which the debt af.d in forme af.d in forme af.d doth testifie whose date is the same day and Year above said

                        And the aforesaid Deverix Drigoose in his own proper person appears and thereupon the
        Said Deverix at the prayer of the plantife by his attorney aforesaid is adjudged to Give Speciall bail to ye
        action aforesaid   whereupon a Certain Peter Beckett of Somerset County planter present herein Court
        in his proper person undertakes for the Said Deverica that of in Case the Said Christopher Should Recover
       Judgm.t in the plea aforesaid against the aforesaid Deverix or that the Said Deverix Should be therein
       convict that then the Said Deverix Shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or render
       his body to the Custody of the Sherr of Somerset County in Satisfaction thereof or that he the Said
       Peter Beckett will do it for him &c

                         And the aforesaid aforesaid Deverix in his Own proper person Comes and defends the force
       and Injury when &.c says that he Cannot Gainsay the action aforesaid of the aforesaid Deverix Christopher
       nor but that the writing obligatory aforesaid is ye deed of the Same Deverix nor but that he owes the
       Same Christopher prays Judgm.t for his debt aforesaid and his damages by Occasion of the detaining
       pounds of beefe in manner and form as the aforesaid Christopher above against him hath declared thereupon
       the said Christopher prays Judgm.t for his debt aforesaid and his damages by Occasion of the detaining
       of the same debt &c

                                                                                     Therefore it is considered that the aforesaid Christopher
       Glass Recover against the aforesaid Deverix Drigoose five hundred and fifty pounds of tobacco and Six hundred
       and fifty pounds of Good beefe his debt aforesaid and his damages by Occasion of the detaining of the same
242   debt to two hundred & forty two                                                pounds of tobacco to the Same Christopher of
       his assent by the Court here adjudged and the aforesaid Defend.t in mercy &c


       Ordered by the Court that Mathew Dogan pay unto Cornelius Dickerson two hundred and Seventy pounds
       of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance Nine days as an Evidence on behalfe of the said Mathew
       against John Stewart he having made Oath to the Same &c

       Ordered by the Court that John Stewart pay unto William Broughton the Sum of ninty pounds of toba
       it being due unto him for his attendance three days as an Evidence on behalfe of the Said John Stewart
       against Mathew Dogan he having made Oath to the Same &c

       Ordered by the Court that Charles Ramsey pay unto Margaret Chapman two hundred & tenn
       pounds of tobacco being due unto her for her attendance seven days as an evidence on behalfe of the sd
       Charles Ramsey against Jones Records She having made Oath to the Same &c

       Ordered by the Court that Jones Records pay unto John Onorton the Sum of three hundred and Sixty pounds
       of tobacco it being due unto him for his attendance twelve days as an Evidence on behalfe of the Said Jones
       Records against Charles Ramsey he having made Oath to the Same &c


       Ordered by the Court that Charles Ramsey pay unto Thomas Marcey three hundred pounds of tobacco it
       being due unto him for his attendance tenn days as an evidence on behalfe of the Said Charles Ramsey
