292 Likewise to the aforesaid Commission was Annexed The following Deposition &c The Deposition of Richard Chambers aged fourty four years or thereabouts Who Saith that a Red oak Standing on the East side of a swamp that Makes out of a Savana which he shewed to us was the first bounder of a tract of Land Called High Medow belonging now to Thomas Brereton and further saith not The Deposition of Mickell Ragry aged twenty five Years or thereabouts who Saith that the Red oak above mentioned By Richard Chambers he hath heard Severall of the Neighbours say that it was the first bounder of Thomas Breretons Land and furth^er^ saith not The Deposition of Olive Chambers aged fourty and Six Years or there abouts who saith that they she heard her father say Several times that the begining or first Bounder of the Land that Sarah Hayman Lives on was in the Woods Between Thomas Breretons plantation and Sarah Hayman's and further saith Not The Deposition of Richard Chambers Aged fourty four years or there abouts who saith that Coming from Sarah Hayman's plantation with his father Richard Chambers his father his father Shewed him on the Left hand of the path by the Savanah and little branch that there was the Corner tree of the Land Called Hopewell that Sarah Hayman Now Lives on being a Little Scruby White oak but that it was Dead and gone and further saith not The Deposition of Patrick Dailey Aged fourty one Years or there abouts Who saith that Riding between Sarah Haymans and Thomas Breretons plantation that Richard Plunkett in Company with him Showed him a white oak Standing Between the two plantations and said that it was Thomas Brereton's tree or as he Understood the Devision Between ^Brereton^ and Hayman and further saith not The Deposition of Thomas Poole aged forty five Years or thereabouts who saith that Richard Plunkett told him that there was a White oak Standing Between Brewetons and Hayman's Plantations that there was a tree Between the two Plantations ^that^ was Called Henry Haymans tree and further saith that Josheph Standford Clearing a bitt of grond at the South East End of the plantation Richard Chambers Sen told the said Josheph Standford to Clear for that he thought it was not his ground and further saith not The Deposition of Charles Hayman aged twenty Years or their abouts and this Deponant Sayeth that Richard Plunkett told him that he saw a white oak Standing marked with Sixteen Notches and he thought to the best of his knowledge that it |
