Somerset County ss
                                               Be it remembred that on the twenty third day of November
anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty two Came into Court before the worshipfull
    Robert King Esq.r and his associates ^Justices^ of the same Thomas Bluet Gent who prosecutes for the Lord
    proprietary and Gives this Court to understand and be Informed that Betty Game late of the said County
Spinster the first day of September in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and thirty two in
the County aforesaid and within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Committ Fornication with a Certain person unknown
and him the said person on the body of the said Betty Game a bastard Child did begett to the high displeasure
of almighty and to the Evill Example of all Others in such Cases Offending and against the form of
the act of assembly in Such Cases made and provided wherefore the said Thomas Bluett prays advice
of the Court in the premisses &c

                   Thereupon Command was Given to the sher of Somerset County that he should take the said Betty Game
if &c to answer &c and afterwards in the same Court here to witt the twenty third day of November Anno Dom One
thousand Seven hundred and thirty two Came the Said Betty Game in her proper person and had a hearing of the
Information aforesaid and being Instantly demanded how she would acquitt herselfe of the premisses aforesaid
above upon her Imposed says that of the premisses afd so as aforesaid upon her Imposed she is Guilty
thereof and the premisses in the Information aforesaid Expressly Confesseth &c

                Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood
It is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid Betty Game [illegible] at the bablick whiping post
with ten Lashes on her bare back well Laid on untill the blood appear and thereupon
as to the Corporall punishment aforesaid Command is Given to the sher of Somerset County
that he do thereof Immediate Execution by whiping of the Said Betty Game at the publick whiping
post with ten Lashes well Laid on untill the blood appear and afterwards in the Same ^Court^ Came ye
said sher and made return that he had done the Execution of the Judgm.t afd as to the Corporall punishment
aforesaid he was Commanded    Thereupon the said ^Betty Game^ is ordered to Give Security for the payment
of the Severall Officers their Fees due upon the Information afd  Whereupon a Certain Stephen Winright
of Somerset County bricklayer present herein Court undertook for the said Betty Game to pay ye
severall Officers Fees due as afd &c

James Blackwell
Whereas the aforesaid James Blackwell being bound by recognizance for his good

behaviour and appearance at this Court whereupon Came into this Court the said James Blackwell
                   and prays that his appearance may be recorded to save himselfe and Security from the above
Recognizance of bail &c thereupon the Said James Blackwells appearance is recorded and he and his Security
accordingly discharged &c    Whereupon Came into Court a Certain Richard Hugnall and acquainted the
same Court that the afd Blackwell was his Servant and had runaway from him for fear of being taken
