County afd was Indebted to the Said John Tunstall in three pounds Sixteen
Shillings and three pence Current Money of Maryland for Divers goods
and Marchandizes to the Said John Hunt by the Said John Tunstall at
the Speciall instance and Request of him the Said John Hunt before that
time Sold and Delivered and being so thereof Indebted the Said John Hun
Hunt in Consideration thereof afterwards to witt the day and Year aforesd
at Somerset County afd and within the Jur of this Court upon himselfe
did assume and to the Said John Tunstall the Said three pounds Sixteen
Shillings and three pence to the Said John Tunstall when he Should be
thereto required well and faithfully would pay and Content Nevertheless
the Said John Hunt in his Life time and the Said W.m Jones after the
death of the Said John Hunt the promise and assumpcon of him the said
John Hunt in his life time so as afd made no ways regarding but
Designing and fraudulently Intending the Said John Tunstall in this
part to Deceive and Defraud the Said three pounds Sixteen Shillings
and three pence or any part thereof to the Said John Tunstall hath not
paid altho the Said John Hunt in his Life time afterwards to witt the
Second day of august in the Year aforesd and the Said W.m Jones after
the Death of the Said John Hunt to witt the first day of March in the
Year afd often afterwards at Somerset County afd by the Said John
Tunstall was thereto required but the Same to him to pay have
altogether refused and the Said W.m Jones the Same to him to pay
Doth refuse to the Damage of him the Said John Tunstall ten pounds
Current Money and thence he bringeth Suit &c       pledges &c  Jno Doe  R Roe

       And the aforesaid William Jones by Levin Gale his attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury
when &c and prays Leave ^thereof^ to Imparle here untill next Court and he hath it and the Same day is Given
to the aforesaid John Tunstall here also &c

    Att which said next Court to witt the twentieth day of June Ann.o Dom One thousand seven hundred
and thirty two Came againe as well the aforesaid John Tunstall as the aforesaid William Jones by their
attorneys afd and the Same William prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill next Court and
he hath it and the Same day is given to the aforesaid John here also &c

       Att which said next Court to witt the fifteenth day of august Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred
and thirty two Came againe as well the aforesaid John Tunstall as the aforesaid William
Jones by their attorneys aforesaid and whereupon the Same William as before defends the force and
                                                                                                                                  Injury
