May the 12.th 1732   Came before me me the Subscriber one of his Lordships
Justices for the County of Somerset James Martin and was duly Qualified
to Execute the Within Comission   Sworn before me      Sa: Hopkins

May y.e 17.th 1732 the Came M.r Edmond Hough and Cap.t Edward
Rownd before me the Subscriber ^one^ of his Lordships Justices for the
County of Somerset and was duly Qualified to Execute the within
Commission          Sworn before me                    Jam.s Martin

By Vertue of a Commission to us Directed to Examine Evidences in
Relation to the bounds of a tract of Land Called Middlesix belonging
to a Certain Adam Spence Sen.r of Somerset County Lying on the
South Side of Pocomoake river we the Subscribers being Quallified
Appointed a day as the Law Directs and have Mett on the afd Land
and Caused to Come before us this 17.th of May 1732   W.m Whittington
aged about 50 Years of age or there abouts being Sworn on the holy
Evangelist of Almighty God Saith that a Stooping white oak tree
Standing near the river Swamp is the first bounder of the tract of
Land Called Middlesex and that he the Said Whittington was told
so both by Spences and Roberson and that the Said tree was Marked
with 5 knotches on Each Side by Consent of both and further Saith
not                  W.m Robinson aged about 70 years of age or there
abouts being Sworn on the holy Evangelist of Allmighty God Saith
that the Stooping white oak tree was above Mentioned in the first bounder
of the afd tract of Land Called Middlesex and further Saith not
This Taken before us the day and Year above written  Jam.s Martin

Ordered by the Court that Dormon Heath pay unto Robert Ennis Sixty
pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his Attendance two Days as
Evidence on behalf of his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord proprietary
against the Said Dorman Heath he having Made oath to the
Same &c

Ordered by the Court that William Fasitt pay unto Elias Evans
three hundred and thirty pounds of Tobacco it being due unto him for
his Attendance Eleven Days as an Evidence on behalfe of of the Said
William Fasitt against John Holland      he having Made oath to the
                                                                                           Same
