thereof had and Made according to act of assembly in Such Case
made and provided if to him her or them it Shall Seem Meet and
how you Shall Execute this Writt that you make known unto
our said Justices at the day and Place aforesd and have you then
and there this Writt Wittness Sam Hopkins Gent Chief Justices
of our said Court the twenty fifth day of March In the Seventeenth
Year of our Domn &c Ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred
and thirty two            Att which Said third tuesday of June to
witt the twentieth day of the Same Month Ann Dom one thousand
Seven hundred and thirty two Came the Said Joshua Merrill by his
attorney aforesd and the Sher of Somerset County to whom the foregoing
Writt was Directed Likewise Comes and Makes Returne thereof
to the Court here Endorsed in these words following vizt

By Vertue of the Within writt to me directed to the Justices of Somrset
County I Certifie that on the             of             I attached in the hands
of David Goggin two Stears to the Value of thirty Shillings Each and
In the hands of Baly fisher to the value of thirty five Shillings
Current Money and by John Dennis Jun and Joshua Merrill that
they be and appear to Shew Cause &c          Joshua Caldwell sher

And the afd David Goggin Gar of the said Theophilus Dennis in
his own proper person Comes and Defends the force and Injury when &c
and prays Leave thereof to Impare here Untill the Next Court and
he hath it and the Same day is given to the afd Joshua here also &c

       Att which Said next court to witt the Ninteenth day of August Ann.o Dom Ann.o Dom One
thousand Seven hundred and thirty two Came againe the said Joshua Merrill by his attorney afd
and prays that the aforesaid David Goggin Garnishe as aforesaid to his attachment aforesaid may
answer but the said David Goggin altho Solemnly Called came not but made default nor shews Cause
whey &c
                            Whereupon the afd Joshua Merrill by his attorney afd prays that upon Giveing
Security according to act of assembly in such Case provided the afd two Stears of the Value of
thirty shillings each may be Condemned in the hands of the said David g Goggin as the Goods
and Chattells rights and Creditts of the said Theophilus Dennis towards Satisfying unto him his
damages and Costs accrewed ^on^ the writt of attachment afd &c

                Thereupon Francis Allen of Somerset County Gentleman present here in Court undertakes for
the said Joshua Merrill according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided   that in Case
