234 of the Said Joseph of fifty pounds Current Money of the Province of Maryland aforesd And thereupon he brings Suite &c pledges Jno Doe R Roe And the aforesd W.m Shipham by George Douglas ^his attorney^ Cometh and Defendeth the force and Injury when &c And prays Leave thereof to Impare here untill Next Court and he hath it and the Same Day is given to the aforesd Joseph here also &c Att which Said next Court to witt the Sixteenth day of Novemb.r Ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty one Came againe as Well the aforesd Joseph Jones as the afd W.m Shipham by there Attorneys aforesd And thereupon the Said Will.m prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill the Next Court and he hath it and the Same day is Given to the aforesd Joseph Jones here Allso &c Att which said Next Court to witt the twenty first of March Ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty one Came againe as well the afd Joseph as the aforesd Will.m by there attorneys aforesd And Thereupon the Said William prays Further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill the Next Court and he hath it and the Same Day is Given to the aforesd Joseph here also &c Att which Said Next Court to witt the twentyeth Day of June Ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty two Came againe as well the aforesd Joseph as the aforesaid Will.m by there Attorneys aforesd and thereupon the Said Will.m prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill the Next Court and he hath it and the Same day is given to the afd Joseph here also &c Att which Said Next Court to witt the fifteenth Day of August Ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty two Came againe as well the afd Joseph as the aforesd Will.m by there Attorneys aforesd And thereupon the Said William Shipham as before defends the force and Injury When &c ^and^ prays hearing of the WRiting Obligatory afd and it is Read Unto him &c And prays also a hearing of the Condition of the Writing Obligatory aforesd and it is read to him in these words The Condition of the Above Obligation is Such that if the above bounden William Shipham his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assignes do well and truly Alienate and Confirm a Certain tract of Land Lying and being and being on the South Side of Pocomoke upon the Branches of the head of the Said river Called and known by the Name of Oak hall which said Land &c I Doe promise to Make a Sure and Indefeazable Right with all the Profitts benefits and appurtinances belonging thereunto Clear of all Incumbrances |
