Aprill 11.th 1732 Then Came Thomas Bluett before me the Subscriber One of the Lord proprietarys Justices of the peace for the County ^of Somerset^ and made Oath on the holy Evangelist of almighty God that the account above against James Emra is Just and true and that he never Received any part or percell thereof (nor Security nor any thing in Satisfaction for the Same) more then creditt given to the best of his knowledge sworn to before me the day & year above Wm Stoughton Att which said third tuesday of august to witt the fifteenth day of the same month anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty two being the day of the return of the Said Writt Cometh the said Thomas Bluett in his proper person and the sher of Somerset County to whom the foregoeing writt was directed ^Likewise^ Comes and makes return thereof to the Court here endorsed in these words following vizt Non est Inventus short note Left Joshua Caldwell sher Whereupon the said Thomas Blewett in his proper person prays that for as much as he has Complyed with the Law in order to an attachment he may have Judgmt against the Same James Emra for his damages aforesaid by way of attachment according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &c Whereupon for that it seem's to the Court here that the said Thomas Blewett has complyed with the Law as alledged Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the ^said^ Thomas Blewett Recover against the said James Emra his damages afd to the aforesaid two pounds twelve shillings Curr money as also 109 all Costs and Charges by the Said plft Laid Out and Expended about his Suit by way of attachment against the goods Chattells Rights or Creditts of the Said James Emra according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &c
Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of August then Next to answere unto John Collins of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c and that thereof he Should not fail &c And the Said John Collins by Robert Jenkins Henry his attorney Complaineth against the Said Richard Poltney |
