Land Called Coopers purchase and the Land where his father Lived which formerly belonged to Richard Webb was a white oake
standing in the mouth of Small Vally by the River Swamp on the Rising Ground on the Eastermost Side of the said Valley
and further Saith not                           Robert Mitchell                                                                        William Lane

                   John Webb aged forty three Years or thereabouts being Sworn upon the holy Evangelist of almighty God
deposeth and Saith that about thirty odd years agoe his father Shewed him a marked White Oake Standing in the mouth ^of a small^
of Valley by the river Swamp and on the Eastermost side of the Said Vally and told him that it was the dividing bounder
between his Land and Thomas Carills and this deponant further Saith that ^about^ twenty years agoe he was desired by Mr Walter
Lane to shew the afd tree and that when they Came to it found the tree down but the bark on the tree and the marke plain to be seen
and further Saith not                                                                                                                      John Webb
                                             The above depositions was taken before us the Subscribers being first duely Qualilfied according to Law

Somerset ss    July 14: 1730        
                                                    In pursuance of an act of assembly of this province Entituled an act for the administration of
                   Justice in testamentary affairs we whose Names are here under Mentioned have viewed the Lands and houses belonging to James
Govans with the appurtenances according to Law and do hereby Make the following Certificate viz.t

       One Dwelling house with two brick Chimneys One of said Chimneys broken Leakes and much Broke in the sides
one old Citchen and old Corn house one meat hous out of Repair         One good Brick Milkhouse one twelve foot Lodging Room good repair
935   Pannells of Old fence Round the Cornfeild and pasture              216 Pannells of Old Rotten fence Round the orchard and old feild
by it         400 apple trees in the Old Orchard some of them decaying      40 apple trees in an Other Orchard some of them decaying
20 old Quince trees 16 pear and Plumb trees   180 good Peach trees            150 D.o old and 30 CHerry trees

       And we do adjudged the annuall Rent to be Seven hundred pence for the said Land and Plantation

                Pursuant to an act of assembly of this province now in force Intituled an act for the better administration of
Justice in testamentary affairs &.c  Personally appeared before me John Handy One of his Lordships Justices of the
peace for Somerset County the above Named James Weatherlee and James Train Who took their Oath on the holy Evangelist
of almighty God that they would according to the best of their Still and Judgm.t make a Just Estimate of the Lands
and premises of James Govan an orphan which said James Weatherly and James Train went or the afd Lands of
the afd James Govan and proceeded thereon as appears by the above Instruement of Writing Returned from under
their hands and seales   In Wittness whereof I have hereunto put my hand this 14.th day of August 1730

                                     Know all men by these presents that we Ann Stevens and George Dashiell
of Somerset County in the province afd are holden and firmly bound unto Rebecca Stevens Daughter of
Isaac Stevens late of Somerset County in the full and Just Sum of Eighty five pounds ^fifteen shills & tenn pence^ Currant Money of
Maryland to be paid unto the said Rebecca Stevens her heirs Executors administrators or assigns to the
    which payment well and truely to be made and done We bind Our Selves Our and Either of Our heirs Executors and administrators
for the whole and in the whole Joyntly and Severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated
this 17.th day of August anno Dom 1730

                   The Condition of the above Obligation is Such that Whereas the Commissioners Generall hath transmitted
