186 as in duty bound shall ever pray James Mumford The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and the premisses Considered It is therefore ordered by the Court here that the aforesaid James Mumford Jun.r be discharged for the future from paying of taxes for ye afd negro woman as by the petition aforesaid is praid &c
Whereupon the aforesaid Thomas Holbrook acknowledged himselfe to be Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in the Sum of ten pounds sterling Good and Lawfull money of England to be Levied on his Goods and Chattells ^Lands^ and tenements for the Use of his said Lordship the Lord proprietary his heirs and Successors if it Happen the afd Thomas Holbrook do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordship County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of August Next ^and do not^ answer unto the Information aforesaid and Such Misdemeanors as shall be objected ag.t him and do not depart the Court with out Leave thereof &c then the above recognizance to be and remain in full force & vertue otherwise &c Upon the prayer of Thomas Bluet his Lordships attorney It is ordered by the Court that the Sher of Somerset County Return a pannell of Grand Jurors Immediately to Enquire for the body of Somerset County soon after the said sher to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent Return's a pannell of Grand Jurors as Followeth viz.t James Rownd, William Jones Benjamin Holland Capell King, Parker Selby John Purnall, James Polk, Abraham Smith John Huett Nutter, John Holland, W.m Turpin Jun.r Abraham Cordery, Isaac Atkinson, John Beavins Robt Collier, Edward Franklin, James Jones John Nocek, John Sturges William Colebourn Isaac Marshall, John Roach Ambross Willett and John Brittingham whereupon the Jurors aforesaid so as aforesaid Impannelled being Severally Called over appear and being Sworn and Charged and Sent Out to Consider &c soon after the Jurors aforesaid being Impannell Sworn and Charged as afd return here into Court and Being severally Called over present to the Court here the following presentments (to witt) against Paul Cragen and Betty Game ^Avery Morgan & Aberilla Beal^ and Indictments against W.m Horsey, Thomas Lord and Martin Henry thereupon the Jurors afd are discharged and ordered that they be allowed five hundred pounds of tobacco to be paid next Levy Court and against the aforesaid Paul Cragen and Betty Game so as aforesaid presented it is ordered that Capias Issue Returnable to next Court &c
