161 Glade the fence was Called the great pasture fence and that the gutt that runs up by John Woolfords house was Called M.r Woolfords Gut and that he was well aquint with the place at that time and further Saith not Will.m Bozman John Bozman aged about fifty years being Sowrn Saith that about twenty Years agoe he Saw a post and raile fence that run down to a small Glade it was Called the Great Pasture fence and that the Gut that runs up by John Woolfords house was Called M.r Woolfords Gut and that he was well aquint with the place at that time And further Saith not John Bozman p.r Pt George Bozman aged about forty Eight Years being Sowrn ^he saith^ that he always heard that Gutt ^that^ Leads up into the woods by John Woolfords house Called M.r Woolfords Gutt and and further Saith not George Bozman p.r Pt Brian Gillagan aged between fifty and sixty years being Sworn he saith that the gutt that runs up by John Woolfords plantation (that is now) which divided the Calf pasture from the Greate Pasture was always Called the Great Pasture Gutt it was asked by the Deft what that gutt was Called that run up by Levin Woolfords plantation where the Great pasture fence Led down to he answered the Little Branch between Lukes point and the Great pasture this Deponant further Saith that he was well acquint with the place for he was a Servant of Roger Woolford the Elder about two years and the remainder of his time he Served M.rs Woolford the wife of Rodger Woolford dec.d And further Saith not his Brian Q Gillagan mark p.r Deft James Woolford aged about fifty one years being Sowrn he saith that a gut that runs up the plantation that did be long to Levin Woolford was always Called the Great Pasture Gutt and that his father walked down to a pine and told him this Deponant that Levin Wooford Should begin at the mouth of the said Gutt and up the Gutt to the pine and so into the woods but he has forgott the Courses it is about twenty nine Years agoe Since his father told him soe which is a pine that is marked and Now dead Standing in the Side of a glade and Sence the death of this Deponants father he Came to See his brother Levin and they two Walked Down to the said Gutt and he told this Deponant that That Gutt Divided him and his brother rodger and that he was to run to the pine afd And further saith Not Jam.s Woolford pr deft John Jones of Dorset County aged thirty two Years Yesterday being Sworn Saith that his brother Levin Wollford told him that the pine Sworn to by James Woollford devided him and his brother Roger and further Saith not John Jones p deft John Bozman being Examined on the Oath he before had taken saith that about Eight Years agoe he was present with Coll Roger Woollford when he Saw him marke ye pine that James Woollford was Sworn to and the Said Woollford told him that pine Should divide him and his brother Levin Woollford James Woollford saith that was the tree before it was Marked so it was marked directly afterward but this deponant |
