161 holy Evangelist of Allmighty God according to the act of assembly in such Case made and provided) and their Cause to Come before you or any three or two of you all such Evidence as Shall be to you or any three or two of you Nominated by the Said Complainent or Deft of any and that you or any three or two of you Examine them upon their Corperall oaths to be by you or any three or two of you Administred on the holy Evanglist of Almighty God in the Presence of the Complainent or Deft if any) touching the truth of Remembrances of their knowledge or anything that may relate to the Cause afd and that Reduceing the Severall Depositions into Writing you send the Same together with this our Commission under your or any three or two of your hands to us to our County Court of Somerset with all Convenient Speed Wittness Sam.l Hopkins Gent Chief Justices of our said Court the Eighteenth day of June in the Seventeenth Year of our Dominion &c Ann Dom Seventeen hundred and thirty one On the back side of the foregoing Commission it was Endorsed Vizt September 15.th 1731 Then Came Mess.rs Thom.s Dashiell George Dashiell Thomas Brown and Robert Jones the within Commissioners before me the Subscriber one of the Lord proprietarys Justices of the peace for the County of Somerset and took their oaths on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God to Execute the within Commission as far as it relates to a tract of Land Called happy addition Justly truly and Impartially and According to an act of assembly of this Province in that Case made and provided Sworn to the day and year above before me Will.m Stoughton September 15.th 1731 Then Came Mess.rs Thomas Dashiell George Dashiell and Thomas Brown the within mentioned Commissioners before me the Subscriber one of the Lord Proprietarys Justices of the peace for the County of Somerset and took their oaths on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God to Execute the within Commission so far as it relates to a tract of Land Called Lunns Improvement Justly truly and Impartially and According to an act of assembly of this Province in that Case made and provided Sworn to ^before me^ the day and year above Will.m Stoughton and likewise to the aforesaid Commission were annexed the following depositions vizt Somerset County ss Depositions of Wittnesses taken at the Plantations of M.rs Matha and Mary Woolford in the County afd begun the fifteenth day of September Ann Dom 1731 at monokin on the Land Called Happy adition and at Goulden Quarter on the Land on the Land Called Lunns Improvement by Vertue of a COmmission to us Directed out of his Lordships Court of ^for^ Somerset County bearing date the 18.th day of June in the 17.th year of our Dominion Ann Dom 1731 for the Examining such Evidences as should be produced to us by the Complainentns or deft.s on the aforesd two tracts of Land Called Happy adition and Lunns Improvement vizt Matha and Mary Woolford Pleft against John Woolford Deft The Deposition of William Bozman aged fifty two years or there abouts being Sworn he Saith about twenty years agoe he saw a post and Raile fence that run down to a small Glade |
