          March Court                    1731                     160

Court here upon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses afd whereof in form aforesaid he is
Convict to three hundred pounds of tobacco and that the Said Patrick Connerly be taken to Satisfie
his Said Lordship of the fine afd      Likewise it is Ordered by the Court that the Said Pat
Connerly Give Security for his good behaviour and appearance at June Court next &c

       whereupon the Said Patrick Connerly with Johnson Hill of Somerset County planter
his Security both present herein Court acknowledged themselves to Owe to his Said Lordship the
Lord proprietary in the Sum of five pounds Sterling Each of their Severall Goods and Chattells Lands
and tenements to the use of his Said Lordship (his heirs and Successors) to be made and Levied   If it
happen the said Patrick Connerly do not make his personall appearance before the Justices
of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of June
next and do not stand and abide the Judgmt of the Court thereupon and do not depart the same Court
without Lycence thereof and that he is not in the mean time of the Good behaviour towards all
his said Lordships Good people &c

 Somerset ss  Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces
of Maryland and Avalon Lord baron of Baltemore &c To Levin
Gale, George Dashiell, Thomas Gillis and Peter Sirman all
of Somerset County Gent Greeting know ye that we have appointed you or any three
or two of you to be our Commissioners to Examine Evidences on behalfe of a Certain
John Leatherbury of the County aforesd in relation to the bounds of tract of Land
Lying in the County aforesd Called Timson we therefore require you or any three or
two of you at Some time and place as to you or any three or two of you ^shall^ be seem
Convenient you meet on the afd Land Called Timson (you first having taken
Your oaths on the Holy Evangelist of ALmighty God According to act of assembly
in Such Case made and provided) and there Cause to Come before you or any three
or two of you all Such Evidences as shall be to you or any three or two of you
Nominated by the said Complainent (or Deft if any) and that you Examine
them upon their Corporall oaths to be by You or any three or two of you administred
on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God in presents of the Complainant (or def.t
if any) touching the truth or remembrances of their knowledge or any thing
that may relate to the Case afd and that reduceing the Severall depositions
into writing you send the Same together with this our Commission under
your or any three or two of your hands to us to our County Court of Somerset with
all Conveniant Speed Wittness W.m Planer Gent one of our Justices of our said
Court the twentyeth day of March in the fifteenth Year of our Dominion &c Ann
Dom one thousand seven hundred and twenty Nine

       On the back side of the fore going Commission it ^was^ Endorsed viz.t  September 14.th 1731 then Came before me
