December the twenty eighth day 1731 the Sher of Somerset County to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent (in pursance of
his Lordships writt of Election) with Mr W.m Planner Mr John Caldwell, Mr John Scott & Mr W.m Lane Justices and
the Clark of Somerset County mett at the Court house for the appointing a day for the Choseing of four
free men as burgesses for the County afd &c whereupon the Said Sher and Justices did appoint the Election day
to be on the first day of february then next   upon which said first day of february 1731 at the
Court House for the County afd Came the afd Sher with Severall of the Justices and the Court being Set &
proclamation made &c the Severall free holders and Others qualified to Vote in an Election &c did
elect and Chose Levin Gale Esq.r Mr John Caldwell Mr George Dashiell & Mr francis Allen as delegates
for ye County afd to serve in ye next Generall assembly &c
