You Archibald Simpson do Swear that whilst you have the Records of Somerset
County under Your Care that you well and faithfully preserve the Same of
from the Inspection of any person or persons (Except the Clerk you Shall not
suffer any person or persons to take any Copys from the Same) ^records^ Except the Clerk
of Somerset County Cort you SHall not ^transcribe or^ deliver any Copy ^or Copys^ of & from the Said records
for your own Use nor any other persons Use Nither shall you declare the Contents
of any Records thats Committed to your Charge to any person or persons nor
devulge any the Secretts of ye said Office but shall well and faithful prove the Same

       thousand Seven hundred and thirty One Came againe as well the aforesaid John
