the aforesaid thirty pounds Currant money in manner and form as the aforesaid Betty above against him hath declared therefore
the said Betty prays Judgm.t for her debt afd and her damages sustained by Occasion of the detaining of the Same debt or to
her to be adjudged &c
                            Therefore it is Considered that the aforesaid Betty Gale Recover against the aforesaid William Whittington
thirty pounds Currant Money the debt aforesaid and her damages sustained by Occasion of the detaining of the Same debt
(351)   to three hundred & fifty one                                 pounds of tobacco to the Same Betty of her assent by the Court
here adjudged and the afd defendant in Mercy &c

memorand.m the plfts by Francis Allen their attorney sued out his Lordships writt of Scirefacias against the deft
the tenor whereof followeth in these words vizt               Somerset ss    Charles absolute Lord and Proprietary
of the provinces of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.c  To the sherr of Somerset County Greeting
whereas Thomas Billin and Catherine his wife Executrix of the Last will and testament of William White
    Late of the County aforesaid Marriner dec.d lately in Our County Court of Somerset hereto witt the ninteenth day of march anno Dom
One thousand seven hundred and twenty Seven before Samuel Hopkins Gent and his associats then Our Justices of our same Court at
dividing Creek and by Consideration of the Same Court obtained their Execution of a Certain Judgmt against Thomas Baker of Coventry
Eighteen hundred and Eight and a halfe Cutts of Cypress timber Each quarter five foot four Inches Long and three hundred and
Eighty pounds of tobacco Costs Laid Out and Expended as also three hundred and Eleven pounds of tobacco by the same Court
adjudged unto the said Thomas Billin and Catherine his wife for their Costs and damages Sustained by Occasion of delay of
execution of the Judgment aforesaid whereof he is Convict as by the Record and process thereof in Our same Court before our
Justices at dividing Creek afd residing manifestly appeareth Nevertheless Execution of the Judgm.t aforesaid as Yett remaineth
to be made as by the Insinuation of the aforesaid Thomas Billin and Catherine his wife we have received and because
we are willing that those things which in Our said Court are rightfully acted ought to be duely Executed we Command you that
by good and Lawfull men of your bailywick you make known unto the said Thomas Baker that he before Our Justices of
Our County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of August Next to Shew Cause if any thing he hath
or knoweth to say wherefore the aforesaid Thomas Billing and Catherine his wife their Execution of the Judgmt afd against him
to have Ought not according to the form of the Recovery aforesaid if to him it Seemeth Expedient and have you then and there
the Names of them by whom to him you make know and this writt Wittness Samuel Hopkins Gentm Chiefe Justice of
Our said Court the Ninteenth day of June in the fifteenth Year of Our Dominion &c

                         Att which said third tuesday of August to witt the ninteenth day of the Same month anno Dom one thousand seven hundred
and twenty nine being the day of Return of the Said Writt before his Lordships Justices of the Peace at Dividing Creek Cometh the
aforesaid Thomas Billing and Catherine his wife by their attorney aforesaid and the sher of Somerset County to witt John Purnall
Gentlemen at the same day Returned that he by virtue of the writt aforesaid to him directed he had made known to the afd Tho.s
Baker by James Baker and Joseph Merrill good and Lawfull men of his Bailywick that he be before the Justices of his
Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek at the day aforesaid to shew in form afd &.c as to him it was Commanded
which ^same^ Certain Thomas Baker according to the forewarning to him in that part made by George Dashiell his attorney so Likewise
Cometh and prays Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the Same day is given to the aforesaid
plfts here also
                                     Att which said next Court to witt the Eighteenth day of November Anno Dom One thousand Seven
hundred and twenty Nine Came againe as well the afd Thomas Billings and Catherine his wife by their attorney aforesaid as
the afd Thomas Baker by his attorney afd and the said Thomas by his said attorney prays further Leave thereof to Imparle
hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd plfts here also

       Att which said next Court to witt the seventeenth day of March anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and twenty
