are very much decayed Your petitioner humbly prays Your worships to appoint Commissioners to Examine Evidences in Order to prove and perpetuate the boundarys of Said Land and as in duty bound Shall ever pray Hugh Porter The petition the aforesaid being Read and Heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had wherefore it is Considered here that a Commission Issue to the afd Hugh Porter as by the petition afd is praid and that William Lane, W.m Handy W.m Mills and Robert Mitchell all of Somerset County Gentlemen be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &.c Jack a negro boy of Thomas Benston of Nanticoke is adjudged by the Court to twelve Years &.c Bess a negro Girle of Thomas Benston of Nanticoke is adjudged by the Court to the age of twelve years &c
acres the bounds whereof are become doubtful and decayed and the wittnesses to prove them are Ancient Your petitioner humbly prays your worships to appoint Commissioners to Examine Evidences to prove or perpetuate the memory of any the bounds of Said Land according to an act of assembly in Such Case made and provided and Your petitioner as in duty bound Shall ever pray Isaac Handy The petition aforesaid being Read and Heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereof had wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that a Commission Issue to the aforesaid Isaac Handy as by the petition aforesaid is praid and that Levin Gale, Thomas Humphrys , Thomas Gillis and James Mackmorie all of Somerset County Gentlemen be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &.c John Sturges Sen.r a poor blind man is by the Court discharged from paying of taxes for the future &.c Francis Allen of Somerset County Gentleman is discharged by the Court from paying of taxes for the future for his negro man Called Ceaser &.c John Lay appointed Overseer of the road in Boquetennorton hundred in the Stead of Robert Hill &c Ock a negro Boy of William Polks is adjudged by the Court to the age of tenn Years this term &c London a negro Boy of John Outerbridges is adjudged by the Court to EIght Years this term &c |
