7 same month ann.o Dom one thousand seven hundred and twenty six being the day of the Return of of the said Writt Cometh the said William Fasitt by Levin Gale his attorney and the sherr of Somersett County to whom the foregoeing Writt was directed Likewise Cometh and maketh Returne thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words following vizt Cepi Corpus P Fran Allen sher And the afd Edmond Crapper by George Dashiell his attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury when &.c and prays Leave to Impare hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd Plft here also Att which said next Court to witt the twenty first day of March anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and twenty six Came againe as well the afd William Fasitt as the afd Edmond Crapper by their attorneys afd and whereupon the said Edmond Crapper by his said attorney prays further leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd plft here also Att which said Next Court to witt the twentieth day of June anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty seven Came againe as well the afd William Fasitt as the afd Edmond Crapper by their attorneys afd and the afd William Fasitt then and there his writ afd against the afd Edmond Crapper did not prosecute with Effect but voluntarily suffered his Suite to be discontinued Therefore afterwards viz.t that Same day by discretion of the Justices here were adjudged (170) the same Edmond Crapper the Sume of One hundred and Seventy pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges thereof Lately made and provided and the afd Wm Fasitt in Mercy and that the afd Edmond Crapper have thereof Execution &c
she the same Mary is a good true & faithfully Subject of our Lord the King & Divers his Predecessors Late Kings & Queens of England from the time of her Nativity hath heither to behaved & Governed Herselfe & of good name fame Credit and Estimation as well among her Neighbours as all other faithfull Subjects of our Said Lord ye King by all the time afd hath been Esteemed accounted & Reputed & from all treasons Burgert's Felonys thefts fornications & Adultery's or Such Like Wicked or base Crimes & from the Procureing or abetting such Like ^wickedness or of ye same in manner noted or^ Suspected by the whole Course of her life hitherto free Clear & wholy unsuspected hath abstained Lived remained and Continued by reason whereof the said Mary obtained the favour & (Good) |
