    Novem Court            1727    56

in the county court afd Before the Justices thereof Recovered against him as of
three hundred and Seventy four pounds of tobacco which to the same Francis in the
same Court were adjudged for his damages which he had by the occasion of the detaining
of the same debt whereof he is convict and that thereof he should not fail &c

       Att which said third tuesday of novem to witt the twenty first day of the same month
Anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred & twenty Seven being the day of the return of the
said writt cometh the said Francis Allen by Levin Gale his attorney & the said Jno Bishop
in custody of the Coroner afd Likewise cometh and the said Jno Bishop Being set
by the Coroner sett to the barr &.c   Whereupon the said John Bishop at the prayer
of the afd Francis Allen by his attorney afd is committed into the Custody of the said
Coroner thereto remaine untill the said Francis of the debt and damages afd should
be fully satisfied   Thereupon the said Coroner to witt John Purnall Gent
present here in court took charge of the said John Bishop accordingly &c

that he should Take Abr: Smith Late of somrsett County Planter
al.s Dict.s Abraham Smith of somersett County Planter if he
                   should be found in his bailywick and him should safe Keep so that he
    might have his Body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of somrsett
    to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of novem then next to satisfie Francis
    Allen as well of a certain Debt of Eight thousand pounds of tob.o which the same
    Francis in the County court afd before the Justices thereof recovered against him as
    of three hundred and Sixty pounds of tob.o which to the same Francis in the same
    Court were adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of the detaining of the
    same debt whereof he is convict and that thereof he should not fail &a

    Anno Dom one thousand seven Hundred and twenty seven being the day of ye return of the
    said Writt cometh ye said Francis Allen by Levin Gale his attorney & the said Abraham
