said Isaac Reynolds had noe person that would undertake for him as his Security for the paym.t
of the fourfold and Fees afd   thereupon the Said Isaac Reynolds is sold by the Court unto
William Turpin of the County afd for one year and ten months the Said Isaac reynolds
to serve the said William Turpin his heirs and assigns from the day of the date of these present
the full term afd   Inconsideration of which Servitude the said William Turpin
undertakes to pay the four fold afd and all the Officers their fees due by occasion of the
premisses afd &c

                               of Somersett County upon their Oath do present that Patience Evans
    Diton late of Somersett County afd spinster on the Last day of August Anno Dom
    One thousand seven hundred and twenty seven at somersett County afd within the Jurisdiction
    of this Court with force and Arms &.c five Cheeses of the Value of two shillings
    Curr.t mony of Maryland One fine Shift of Scotch Linnen of the Value of Six shillings
    Like mony One Kenting handkercheife of the Value of four shillings like money
    fifteen pounds of washed wooll of the Value of fifteen shillings like money twelve
    pounds of feathers of the value of twelve shillings Like mony being the proper goods
    of a Certain James Dickerson of Somersett County afd then and there being then and
    there feloniously did steal take and Carry away against the form of an act of assembly
    of this province now in force in Such Cases made and provided and against the peace
    of the Right honrble the Lord proprietary of this province that Now is his good rule
    and Government                           Dashiell Clk of Indictments
    Testes   John Merrill, Margarett Merrill, Sarah Lamberson, Catherine Layfeild, Francis Henderson

          On the Back side of the foregoeing Bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed vizt
                                                                  Billa Vera Edmond Hough foreman

             Thereupon command was given to the sherr of Somersett County that he should
    take the said Patience Evans Diton if &.c to answer &.c and afterwards in the same
    court Came the said Patience Evans Diton in Custody of the said sherr; in whose
    Custody before that time was Committed for the Cause afd

    And being by the said Sherr sett to the Barr Indictm.t read is thereupon Instantly
    demanded how she would acquitt herselfe of the felony afd saith ^that^ of the felony afd
    so as afd upon her Imposed she is not guilty thereof and for tryall thereof
