1727 36 all Convenient speed Wittness &c The Deposition of Comfort Benton Aged Seventy one years or there abouts Being sworn upon the Holy Evangelist of almighty God Sayeth that about forty four years agoe and Ever since to this Day has Known this Place to be Called the Indian Bridge and no Other place being now a path or foot way from Jno Flemans into Parahakin neck & further sayeth not Taken Before us the subscribers This 29th Day of July Anno Dom 1727 Jn.o scott W.m Handy Peter Benton The Deposition of Jno Harris aged about fifty five years Being sworn upon the Holy Evangelist of almighty god Sayeth that about thirty five years ago he Knew this Place Peter waples Bridge & by the name of the Indian Bridge since now a path from Jno Flemans into Parahakin Neck and further sayeth not Taken before us the subscribers this 29 Day of July Anno Dom 1727 Jno Scott W.m Handy Peter Benton The Deposition of Richard Plunckitt aged about sixty four years or there abouts being sworn upon the Holy Evangelist of almighty God sayeth that about forty years agoe he Knew this place to be Called the Indian Bridge & he Knew no other now being a path from Jno Flemans into Parahakin Neck and further sayeth Not.
