being by the Sher Set to the bar is thereupon Instantly demanded how he would acquit himselfe of the premises afd Says that of the premises afd
he is Guilty thereof and Submitts to ye mercy of ye Court & is willing to pay his fine for the fact afd

                Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd John Townsend Jun.r pay unto his Said Lordship for his fine by the Court here
upon him Imposed for and by occasion of the trespass and assault afd whereof in form afd he is Convict fifty pounds of tobacco & that
the afd Archibald Sterling John Townsend Jun.r be taken to Satisfie the fine afd &c

Bominado a negro Boy of Benj William Burton is adjudged by the Court to be of the age of Eleven Years &c

        Prissanty a negro Girl ^Boy^ of William Burton is adjudged by the Court to be of the age of Nine Years &c

Abbo a negro Girle of Wm Burton is adjudged by the Court to be of the age of Seven Years &c

Pleasant a negro Girle of Sarah Lane is adjudged by the Court to be of the age of Eight Years &c

Benj.a a negro Boy of John Handy is adjudged to the age of Eight Years &c

    Samuel Hopkins Gentm One of Our Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset tooke ye Severall oaths to the Government
with ye oath of Justice & took his place on the Bench &c

       Upon the Pet.n of Thos Buett of Somerset County Gent to be admitted one of the attorneys of this Court Granted
he taking the Severall Oaths to the Government with the oath of an attorney; thereupon the afd Thos Buett tooke
ye Sevll Oaths to the Government with the Oath of an attorney and Subscribed the Oath of abjuration & test &c

Levin Gale, Francis Allen and George Dashiel of Somerset County Gentm took the oath of an attorney appointed by
Act of assembly &c and were admitted to practice &c

Ordered by the Court that Charles Ramsey pay unto Mary Chapman wife of Richard Chapman one hundred and fifty
pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance five days as an Evidence on behalfe of the said Charles Ramsey
against Jones Records she having made oath to the Same &c

    This being an action of trespass upon the Case &.c wherein the Sherrife of Somerset County
to whom the writt in the Same action was directed Comes and makes Return thereof to the Court here Endorsed
                            vizt Cepi Corpus      P John Purnall sher

                                                                      Whereupon the afd Thomas Blair being Called appears and thereupon the Said Thomas
Blair at the prayer of the plft by his attorney is adjudged to give Speciall bail to the action afd  Thereupon a Certain Levin Gale of
somerset County Gent.m Present herein Court undertakes for the afd Thomas Blair that in Case the said Edmond Hough shall
Recover Judgm.t in the plea afd against the said Thomas Blair or that the said Thomas Blair shall be therein Convict that then he ye
said Thomas Blair Shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or Render his body to the Custody of the Sher of Somerset
County in Satisfaction thereof or that he ye Said Levin Gale will do it for him; thereupon the Said Thomas Blair appears and
Imparles &c

    Ann Pennewell Exrx of Pennewell decd being somoned to give Security for the ball of the dec.d Estate according to act of assembly appears
    and produces Receipts that shal had paid away the Estate &.c  thereupon the said Ann Pennewell is discharged &c


                            The Court adjourns till the third tuesday of August 1730
