twenty Seven at Somrsett Co.ty afd within ye Jur of this Court was Indebted unto ye Said Jon.a in Sixty Nine pd.s & four Pence Lawfull Mony of America as by Acc.t hereunto Annexed May in Co.t appear & being so thereof Indebted ye s.d Adam in Consideration thereof ye Day & Year afd at ye Co.ty afd upon himselfe did assume & to ye s.d Jon.a then & there faithfully did Promise yt he ye s.d Adam ye s.d Sixty Nine pd.s & four pence to ye s.d Jonathan when thereunto afterwards he Should be requested he would Well & faithfully Pay & Content & Altho' ye s.d Adam two Pounds five Shillings & three Pence Prcell of ye afd Sixty Nine Pounds & four Pence to ye afd Jonathan he hath Paid & Satisfied Yett as to Sixty Six Pounds fifteen Shill.s & One Penny residue thereof ye s.d Adam his Promise & assumption afd in form afd Made Nothing regarding but Plotting & fraudulently Intending ye s.d Jonathan in yt part Craftilly & Subtilly to Deceive & Defraud ye s.d Sixty Six Pounds fifteen Shill.s & One Penny to ye s.d Jonathan altho' ye same to Do ye s.d Adam on ye first Day of March in ye year afd & often afterwards at ye Co.ty afd by ye s.d Jonathan he was thereunto requested hath not Paid or to him for ye same in anywise Contented but ye same to him hitherto to Pay or in Any Sort to Content hath refused & Still Doth refuse & Deny Whereupon he Saith he is worse & hath Damage to the value of Ninety Pounds Mony afd And thereupon He Brings suit Suite &a F: Allen P Quer Pledges &.a J: Doe R Roe |
