thereof or that he the said Joseph Weight will do it for him
   
                                    And the said Henry Gyllaspie in his Own proper person Comes and defends the force
and Injury when &c and says that he Cannot Gainsay the action afd of the afd Quantin nor but that he did
assume upon himselfe in manner and form as the afd Quantin above against him hath Complained and as to the
damage of the Same Quantin by him by occasion of the premisses in that part Sustained the Same Henry Says &
Confesseth that the afd Quantin has Sustained damage by Occasion of the premisses further than his Costs and Charges
by him about his Suit in that part apposed to three pounds three shillings and Six pence Curr.t money and noe more
and becaus the afd Quantin denys not this but the Same Allegation Confesseth to be true prays Judgmt and those damages
above Confessed together with his Costs and Charges afd to him adjudged &c

                 Therefore by Consent of the Parties afd it is Considered that the afd Quantin Brattin Recover against the
afd Henry Gyllespie his damages afd in form afd Confessed to three pounds three shillings and Six pence Currt money of
246   maryland as also Two hundred and forty Six      pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges afd to the same
Quantin at his request by the Court here and by the Consent of the parties afd adjudged which Certain damages in the whole
doe amount to three pounds three shillings and Six pence Curr.t money and                                                        pounds of
tobacco and the aforesaid deft in Mercy &c

Command was given to the Sher of Somersett County that he should take John Rewarke
        Late of Somersett County planter ^als dictus Jno Roark of ye said County & province^ if he should be found in his bailywick and him
should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County
       County Court of Somersett to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of March then next to answer unto Andrew
       Willson of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a  and that thereof he should not fail &c

                                  And the afd Andrew Willson by Francis Allen his attorney declared against the Said John Rewark
       in the plea afd as followeth Viz.t

             Somersett County ss  John Rewarke late of Somersett County planter al.s dict.s John Roark of the said County
       and province was Sumoned to answer unto Andrew Willson of a plea that he render unto him thirty bushells
       of Indian Corn which to him he Owes and Unjustly detaines &c

                And whereupon the said Andrew by Francis Allen his attorney saith that whereas the said
       John the Sixteenth day of December anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty Eight at the County of
       somersett aforesaid within the Jurisdiction of this Court by his Certain bill Obligatory which the said Andrew with the
       seal of the said John signed hereinto Court brings the date whereof is the same day and Year afd did bind himselfe to
       pay unto the said Andrew the afd thirty bushells of Indian Corn at or upon the fifteenth day of January next Ensuing
       the day of the date of the said Bill at Madm Gales and to the same payment well and truly to be made did
       Bind himselfe firmly By ye said Bill Yett ye said Jn.o tho often required ye s.d thirty Bushells
       of Indian Corn at Mad.m Gales upon ye afd fifteenth day of Janry to ye said
       Andrew hath not rendered but ye same to him hitherto to render hath denyed & still
       doth Deny & unjustly Detain to ye Damage of ye said Andrew of five pounds Curr.t mony
       of Maryland & thereupon he Brings Suite &.c     F: Allen P Quer Pledges &.a  J Doe R Roe

                   A Copy of ye foregoing decl.n Curr.t was Made & Sent to be Served on ye Deft
       with ye Writt in ye Plea fd

                      Att which said third tuesday of March to Witt ye seventeenth day of ye same
       Month Being ye Day of ye return of ye s.d Writt Cometh ye said Andrew Willson by
       his attry afd & ye Sher of Somrsett Co.ty to whom ye foregoing Writt was
       Directed Likewise Cometh & Maketh return thereof to ye Court here
