Now hereat this day to witt the Eighteenth day of November One thousand Seven hundred and twenty Nine Came here into Court a Certain W.m Bratton in his proper person and undertakes for to pay thirty shillings for the Said Saml Brattons fine for the fact afd and Likewise the Severall Officers their fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd &.c Ordered by the Court that Capt John Smith appoint Jones Records overseer of the Roads his Labourers within his precincts for the Clearing of the Said road &c The Court Adjourns untill the third tuesday of march next ann.o Dom 1729 Whereas John Donelson of Somerset County Gent and Adm.r of all and singular the Goods and Chattells Rights and Creditts of Samuel Cox Esqr Late of Somerset County dec.d being Sumoned to give Security for the balln of the Said Saml Coxes Estate according to act of assembly the Said John Donelson present here in Cort and Likewise a Certain Adam Muir attorney n fact of the Widdow of the afd Samuel Cox dec.d And for as much as it did appear to the Court here that the said Adam Muir had taken the Estate of the Said Coxes out of the hands of ye said Donelson &c Whereupon the Said John Donnelson is discharged by the Court from giving Security according to act of assembly &c |
