163 Hall that if in Case the said Robert Cravens shall recover Judgmt in the plea aforesaid against the aforesaid Joseph Hall or that the said Joseph shall be therein convict that then he the Said Joseph Hall shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or Render his body to the Custody of the sher of somersett County in satisfaction thereof or that he the said Thomas Pointer will do it for him Whereupon the afd Joseph Hall in his Own proper person Comes and defends the force and Injury when &.c and says that he Cannot gainsay the action aforesaid of the afd Robert nor but that he did assume upon himselfe in manner and form as the afd Rob.t above against him hath Complained and as to the damages of the same Robert by him by occasion of the premisses in that Part sustained the same Joseph says and Confesseth that the afd Rob.t has sustained damage by occasion of the premisses besides his Costs and Charges by him about his suit in that part Expended to Six pounds Curr.t mony and because the aforesaid Robert denys not this but the same alligation Confesseth to be true prays Judgm.t and these damages above confessed together with his Costs and Charges aforesaid to him adjudged &c Therefore by Consent of the parties aforesaid it is Considered that the aforesaid Robert Cravens Recover against the aforesaid Joseph Hall his damages afd to the afd Six pounds Currant mony of Maryland by the same Joseph in form aforesaid Confessed as also two hundred and Eighty Eight pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges to the Same Robert at his request by the Court here by Consent of the parties afd adjudged which Certain damages in the whole do amount to Six pounds Currt mony of maryland and two hundred and Eighty Eight pounds of tobo and the aforesaid debt in mercy &c
third tuesday of March ^then^ next to answer unto Archibald Smith of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c and that thereof he should not fail &c And the aforesaid Archibald Smith by Francis Allen his attorney Complaines against the aforesaid David Robinson in the plea aforesaid as followeth viz.t somersett fs David Robinson late of somersett County planter was attached to answer unto Archibald Smith of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c And whereupon the said Archibald by francis Allen his attorney Complains that whereas the said David the twenty third day of December one thousand seven hundred and twenty Eight at somersett County within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted unto the said Archibald in three pounds fifteen Shillings and four pence Curr.t money of maryland as by account hereunto annexed and here in court produced may appear and being so thereof Indebted the said David in Consideration thereof the day and year aforesaid at |
