Dennis folio by their attorneys afd and the Same attorney of the said Dennis says that he is not Informed
by the Same Dennis his Clyant of any answer for the Same Dennis to the afd Henry in the plea afd to be given
and nothing Els thereof Says by which the Same Henry Remaineth against the afd Dennis thereof undefended
Wherefore the same Henry his damages by Occasion of the premisses against the afd Dennis ought
to recover but because it is not known what damages the afd Henry hath Sustained by Occasion of the
premises Command is to the sher of Somersett County that by the Oath of honest and Lawfull men of his
bailywick or County he diligently Enquire what damage the afd Henry hath Sustained as well by Occasion of
the premisses afd as for his Costs and Charges by him about his suite in that part Expended and the Inquisition
which thereof he takes ^the same Sher make appear^ to his Lordships Justices of the County Court of Somersett to be held at dividing Creek the
the third tuesday of November then next under his seal and the seal of them by whose oath he takes the
Same Inquistion he send together with the said writt to him thereof directed and the Same day is given
to the afd Plft here also      Att which said third tuesday of November to witt the Ninteenth day of the same
month ann.o Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty Eight before his Lordship's Justices of the Peace for
Somersett County at dividing Creek Cometh the afd Henry Schofeild by his attorney afd and the sher returned
a Certain Inquisition before him taken at the Court house in the County afd the twelfth day of November
and year afd by which it appears that the afd Henry Schofeild hath Sustained damage by Occasion of
the premisses besides his Costs and Charges by him about his Suit in that part Expended to forty Shillings
Currant mony and for those Costs and Charges to two pounds of tobacco

                         Therefore it is Considered that the afd Henry Schofeild Recover against the afd Dennis
folio forty shillings Currant mony and two pounds of tobacco his damages afd as by the Inquistion afd appears
as also One thousand and thirty seven pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges afd to the afd
Henry by the Court her of his assent of Increas Adjudged which Certain damage in the whole do amount to
forty shillings Currant mony and One thousand & thirty Nine pounds of tobacco & the afd Dennis in mercy &c

 Somersett fs  Elizabeth Dashiell late of somersett County ^widdow^ adm.rx of all and Singular the goods &
Chattells rights and Creditts which were of Christopher Dashiell at the time of his death was attached
to answer unto Adam Muir of a plea of trespass upon the Case &a
                            And whereupon the same Adam by Levin Gale his attorney Complaines that whereas the afd Christopher in
his life time the tenth day of may One Thousand Seven hundred and twenty five at Somersett County afd within
the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted unto the same Adam in the sum of twenty Eight pounds one shilling &
seven pence currant mony as by account herewith in Court produced may appear and so thereof being Indebted the said
Christopher Dashiell in his life time afterwards viz.t the same day and year afd at the County afd within the afd Jurisdiction
in Consideration upon himselfe assumed and to the same Adam then and there faithfully promised that when afterwards
he should be thereto required he the afd sum of twenty Eight pounds One shilling and seven pence Currant mony to the same
Adam he would well and faithfully Content and pay  Nevertheless the afd Christopher in his life time and the afd Eliz.a Since ye
death of ye said Christopher the promise and assumption afd of the afd Christopher in his life time so as afd made little
regarding and Plotting and fraudulently Intending the same Adam in this part to defraud & deceive neither the afd Christopher
in his life time nor the afd Eliz.a since the death of the afd Christopher the afd sum of Twenty Eight pounds
One Shilling and seven pence hath not paid nor him for it in any wise Contented altho' the Same Christopher
in his life time afterwards (to witt) the tenth day of June anno Dom One thousand Seven hund.r
and twenty six and ye afd Eliz.a since the death of the said Christopher the tenth day of November ann.o
Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty Seven at somersett county afd within the afd Jurisdiction
